Properties
and Indications
GINCOSAN contains standardized
extracts from the leaves of the
Ginkgo biloba tree (Extract GK501)
and the roots of Panax ginseng
(Extract G115).
The standardized Ginkgo extract
GK501 has a positive effect on
the circulation in the brain and
the small blood vessels (arterioles
and venules).
The standardized Ginseng extract
G115 has a stimulant effect on
the brain function.
The combination of these two
extracts, the effects of which
complement each other, make
GINCOSAN a product which is
indicated for symptoms which
point towards circulatory insufficiency.
GINCOSAN may therefore be used
in the treatment of declining
vitality in the elderly.
Signs of this condition are poor
concentration, loss of memory,
impaired perception, forgetfulness, changing mood, irritability,
difficulties of adaptation and
contact and dizziness.
Note
Heavy smoking, excessive consumption of salt and fats and an
unbalanced diet can impair the
vitality and efficiency, and should
therefore be avoided.

Proprh!ies
00 not take GINCOSAN if you are
hypersensitive or allergic to any
of the ingredients.
Inform your doctor if you:
- have allergies (to drugs,
foods, household dust, or of
an occupational nature); or
- are treating the same symptoms with other drugs.
One capsule contains:
Standardized Ginkgo
biloba extract GK501
60 mg
adjusted to 24% ginkgoflavone-glycosides and 6%
terpenes (ginkgolides, bilobalide)
Standardized Panax ginseng
C.A. Meyer extract G115 100 mg
adjusted to 4% ginsenosides

L'extrait standardise de Ginkgo
GK501 est repute avoir une action
regulatrice sur la circulation au
niveau du cerveau et des petits
vaisseaux sanguins (arterioles et
veinules). L'extrait standardlse de
Ginseng G115 exerce un effet
stimulant sur les fonctions cerebrales.
L'association de ces deux extraits,
dont les actions respectives se
cornptetent parfaitement, fait du
GINCOSAN une preparation indtquae lors de troubles dus une
circulation deticiente.
GINCOSAN peut donc etre utnlse
en cas de diminution des tacultes
due I'age.
Cette baisse des capacttes mentales avec I'age se traduit entre
autres par des dltficuttes de
concentration, de rnemorisation,
de fixation de la memolre, des
troubles de I'attention, des changements d'humeur, de I'irritabilite, des ditficultes d'adaptation et
de contact, des vertiges.
Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed,
take 1 capsule twice a day after
breakfast and lunch without
cheWing and with a little fluid.
Generally, the treatment should
be continued for at least 4 weeks.
The duration of treatment should
be discussed with your physician.
Observe the dosage indicated on
the leaflet or prescribed by your
physician. If you think the effect
of the drug is too weak or too
strong, consult your physician
or pharmacist.
Side effects
In rare cases unspecific side
effects (headache, allergic skin
reactions) have been observed.
General notice
The capsules contain no glucose
or sucrose and are therefore suitable for diabetics.
Keep GINCOSAN in a dry place, at
room emperature (lS-2S°C) and
out 0 the reach of children.
The drug may be used only up to
the expiry date indicated on the
container with «EXP •.

Information
Une nourriture mal equilibree et
une consommation excessive de
sel, de graisses et de tabac peuvent alterer les performances et
doivent des lors etre evitees.
Contre-indications
GINCOSAN ne devrait pas etre
utl-Iise en cas d'hypersensibilite
connue envers I'un de ses composants.
Informez votre medecm, votre

- vous avez des allergies (medicaments, aliments, menage,
profession) ou
- vous prenez d'autres medicaments, en particulier pour les
problemas rnentionnes ci-dessus .
Posologie/Mode
d'emploi
Sauf prescription contraire, 1 capsule 2 fois par jour apres Ie petit
deieuner et Ie repas de midi,
avaler sans croquer avec une
boisson. La duree generale du
traitement est de 4 semaines au
rnoins, et devrait etre olscutee
au prealable avec votre rnedecln.
Veuillez vous conformer au dosage
figurant dans la notice d'emballage ou prescrit par votre medecln,
Si vous avez I'impression que l'efficacite du medicament est trop
faible ou au contraire trop forte,
