Martin Buhl-Wagner General Manager, Leipziger Messe Martin Buhl-Wagner, who was born in 1966, graduated from the Technical University in Berlin with a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management after first learning the electrician trade. . As an engineer who has specialized in business management and machine construction, Martin Buhl-Wagner began his career in 1995 as a project manager in the service of SCL Service Center Leipzig (today's FAIRNET) for the Leipziger Messe. He was responsible for the nation-wide trade business as well as for global acquisition and customer service for the upscale project segment. From January 2001 to December of 2002, he worked as the administration manager for the MEDICA Klinik for ambulatory rehabilitation and sports medicine in Leipzig. From December 2002, Martin Buhl-Wagner served as the company officer with statutory authority for the Leipziger Messe subsidiary company FAIRNET Gesellschaft für Messe-, Ausstellungs- und Veranstaltungsservice mbH - he was named executive director in April of 2008. Since 1 July 2008, Mr. Buhl-Wagner has been the general manager of the Leipziger Messe GmbH. http://www.leipziger-messe.de
