Biography
1942 Born in Leipzig
1948-1951 Attended Henriette Goldschmidt School in Leipzig, maintaining an intense focus towards all artistic
fields
1949 Father returned from living in Siberia
1958 Family left German Democratic Republic for West Germany
1962-1964 Studied at the University of Education (Pädagogischen Hochschule) in Esslingen am Neckar
1964 Marriage – Gave birth to her daughter, Friederike
1964-1968 Worked as an elementary school teacher in Stuttgart – moved to Munich (München)
1969 Decided to become a painter
1971 Gave birth to her daughter, Kathrin
1981-2012 Taught illiterate adults through Munich Adult Education (der Münchner Volkshochschule)
2012 Retired from teaching – moved to Berlin, where she now lives with her daughter and her family
