Prof. Dr. Dr. Ann-Kristin Achleitner,

Prof. Dr. Dr. Achleitner was appointed to Regierungskommission Deutscher Corporate
Governance Kodex by the Federal Ministry of Justice in 2012. She has been a member
of various commissions appointed by the German government. She is a member of the
supervisory boards of Muenchener Rueckversicherungs-Gesellschaft AG, Linde AG, and
METRO AG as well as of the board of directors of GDF SUEZ SA (France). Concerning
Linde and GDF Suez she is also a member of the audit committee and a member in the
ethics committee of GDF Suez.
Since 2001 Prof. Dr. Dr. Achleitner holds the chair of Entrepreneurial Finance. She
concluded her studies, dissertation and habilitation in economics and law at the
University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. Prof. Dr. Dr. Achleitner has received several
awards for her accomplishments in scientific research and university teaching, among
others the “Verdienstorden der Bundesrepublik Deutschland”. In 1998 she received
the title ”Global Leader of Tomorrow” from the World Economic Forum.
