DESCRIPTION
The MDHMN9052 and MDHMN9053 Remote Speaker/
Microphones (RSMs) provide a convenient means of communicating by having a speaker, a microphone, and a PTT
in a single, hand-held or clip-on accessory. The
MDHMN9053 Remote Speaker/Microphone includes a
noise cancelling port that reduces background noise during
transmission. It also includes a 3.5 mm audio jack (located
on opposite side of RSMÕs PTT) to accept secondary
receiver audio accessories.
OPERATION
Attaching the RSM to the Radio
1. Turn the radio off.
2. Remove the universal connector seal from the side of
the radio and attach the RSM.
3. Turn the radio on.
Wearing the RSM
(See Figure 1)
For optimum performance
from your RSM, wear the
radio and RSM so that the
accessory cord will not
cross over or touch the
antenna. Also, try to wear
the radio and accessory
combination fairly close to
each other to avoid strain on
the accessory connector.

Receiving
When the RSM is connected to the radio accessory
connector, the radioÕs speaker is muted, and the audio is
only heard from the RSM speaker. Similarly, when a
secondary receiver audio accessory is plugged into the
3.5mm audio jack (MDHMN9053), audio to the RSM is
rerouted to the secondary accessory.
Transmitting
Connecting the remote speaker/microphone to the radio
does not disable the radioÕs microphone and PTT.
Removing the RSM
Turn the radio off before removing the RSM from the radio
accessory connector. Remember to reattach the radio
accessory connector seal to the side of the radio when an
accessory is not being used.
Service
Other than the cable assembly, the MDHMN9052 and
MDHMN9053 Remote Speaker/Microphones are not
repairable. Order replacement speaker/microphones as
necessary. The replacement Speaker/Microphone Cable
Kit, HKN9055, includes the replacement cable and
installation instructions.

Bei den externen Lautsprecher-/Mikrofonkombinationen
(RSMs) MDHMN9052 und MDHMN9053 handelt es sich um
Zubehörteile, die den Lautsprecher, das Mikrofon und die
Sendetaste in einem einzigen Gerät vereinen, das in der
Hand gehalten oder mit einem Clip an der Kleidung befestigt
werden kann und somit eine bequeme Kommunikationsmöglichkeit darstellt. Das MDHMN9053 verfügt darüber
hinaus über eine Geräuschdämpfungsfunktion, die das
Hintergrundgeräusch während des Funkverkehrs weitgehend
ausschaltet. An der der Sendetaste gegenüberliegenden
Seite ist außerdem eine 3,5-mm-Audiobuchse für den
Anschluß eines Ohrhörers vorhanden.
BEDIENUNG
Anschließen des RSM an das Funkgerät
1. Schalten Sie das Funkgerät aus.
2. Entfernen Sie die Schutzkappe des
Zubehöranschlusses an der Seite
des Funkgeräts, und stecken Sie
das RSM ein.
3. Schalten Sie das Funkgerät ein.
Trageweise des RSM
(siehe Abbildung 1)
Die optimale Leistung erzielen Sie,
wenn Sie das Funkgerät und das RSM
so am Körper tragen, daß das Zubehörkabel nicht mit der Antenne in

Bei angeschlossenem RSM ist der eingebaute Lautsprecher
des Funkgeräts stummgeschaltet. Die Audioausgabe erfolgt
ausschließlich über den externen Lautsprecher. Ist Ohrhörer
mit der 3,5-mm-Audiobuchse (MDHMN9053) des
Funkgeräts verbunden, so wird die Audioausgabe dorthin
umgeleitet.
Senden

Bei angeschlossenem RSM sind das eingebaute Mikrofon
und die Sendetaste des Funkgeräts nicht deaktiviert.
ENTFERNEN des RSM
Schalten Sie das Funkgerät aus, bevor Sie den Stecker des
RSM am Zubehöranschluß abziehen, und denken Sie daran,
den Zubehöranschluß wieder mit der Schutzkappe zu verschließen, wenn Sie kein externes Zubehör verwenden.
Service
Im Gegensatz zum Anschlußkabel können externe Lautsprecher-/Mikrofonkombinationen vom Typ MDHMN9052 und
MDHMN9053 nicht repariert werden. Beschädigte RSM´s
müssen ersetzt werden. Das Ersatzanschlußkabel HKN9055
für die Lautsprecher-/Mikrofonkombination beinhaltet das
Ersatzanschlußkabel sowie eine Installationsanleitung.

RSM. De m•me, si vous branchez un second accessoire de
signalisation BF dans la prise de casque de 3,5 mm
(MDHMN9053), le signal BF en direction du RSM est orientŽ
vers l'accessoire secondaire.
Emission
Le raccordement du micro dŽportŽ au poste ne dŽsactive ni
le microphone du poste ni sa touche d'alternat.
