Agnès as been working on music for some time. Agnès got a strong preference
for anything approaching minimal house and other glitchy grooves.
SAEP001 collect's four tracks of clickin'house. Agnès music is sweet & groovy; it's
one of these records that at first you won't feel to dance too but once the beat
goes on then you suddenly find your peers shakin'n'banging kindly.

Following this release, agnès will play live at gigs.

STHLMAUDIO recordings is a small label producing modern minimalism from ambient
to more clicky house works. The label is completely independent and works on its
own. We love what we do and we don’t live from that. If we would by mistake like to
change this state of mind you wouldn’t have this record in your hands.
Our next release, SAEP002 will feature 4 different artists.
Planned release time is spring 2004.
525 v inyl copies will be pressed.
We taught putting out 2- 3 releases a year. This could of course vary.
The label outfit and graphics are in place and aimed to stay. Fonts and layout would
not change. The face “b” picture will always evolve following the moods of

Das erste Release eines neuen Schweizer Labels, das hier via Westberlin vertrieben wird. Und so klar wie
die Berge auf dem Label, sind auch die Tracks. "Christina Ricci Please Call Me", was für ein grosser Titel,
ist einfach eine leichte Melodie aus gesampleten Akkorden in Dubschwingung versetzt, der man nicht
entkommen kann, weil sie zu stimmig und klar ist, schnörkellos und dennoch perfekt. "Images Of You"
singt ohne Beats und mit leichten Verzerrungen von der generativen Zeitlosigkeit der Echos, Loops, und
was sonst noch so an Leben zu finden ist wenn man an nichts mehr denken kann, ausser an diese grosse
Kugel und ob sie sich noch dreht. "Illusions" ein weiterer deeper Housetrack mit Sounds die so watteweich
klingen als wäre alles nur Hauch, und zum Abschluss mit "Ready To Go" noch ein Track der endgültig klar
macht, dass House, grade wenn es deep werden soll, nicht abstrakt genug, aber auch nicht einfach genug
sein kann. Ich glaube ich werde die Schweiz noch mal heiraten. Schon wieder ein Killerlabel. Jetzt würde
ich nur noch gerne wissen warum es diesen unaussprechlichen Namen hat.

In der Schweiz gehen die Uhren anders. Agnès gibt vor, minimale Housetracks zu sammeln. Tatsächlich
siedeln sich die offenherzigen Landschaftsentwürfe im deepen Technobereich an. D ie Stücke sind indes so
angelegt, dass sie sich vornehm im Hintergrund bewegen, sich dann aber komplett der Aufmerksamkeit
des Betrachters öffnen. So machen sich die warmen Scapes, die weite Bergketten überziehen könnten,
erst dann unentbehrlich, wenn sie schließlich verklingen und eine vorher nicht greifbare Leere
zurücklassen.

ein taufrisches label aus genf macht mit gebrechlichen und hell schimmernden sounds auf sich
aufmerksam. mit viel kose fürs genügsame schmiegt sich agnès im kuscheligen nebel und tauchen in
einen durchsichtigen, nie enden wollenden bergsee, ohne dabei jemals zu frösteln. gänsehaut bekommt
man lediglich, weil’s gerade so gut tut. p3.14
