Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
mit diesem Rundschreiben erhalten Sie Details zum Versand und zur Installation der oben genannten Xetra Release 9.1 Update Kits.
Die Update Kits beinhalten folgende Anpassungen:

Verbesserungen bei der Verwendung dynamischer Filter
Bei der Verwendung der Funktion „Add Using“ für Quotes werden nun alle Daten korrekt in
das Quote Entry-Fenster übernommen.
Der am 1. Dezember 2008 verteilte Hotfix (Austauschdatei) ist in den Update-Kits enthalten.

Jeder Teilnehmer erhält die Update Kits für SUN Solaris 10 und für Microsoft Windows.
Damit die Datenübertragung stattfinden kann, bitten wir Sie sicherzustellen, dass die ReportMISSes Ihrer Xetra-Simulations-, bzw. Produktionsumgebung zu den angegebenen Versandterminen ohne Unterbrechung erreichbar sind.
Bitte achten Sie ebenfalls darauf, dass die erforderlichen Schreib- und Leseberechtigungen für Dateien und Ordner richtig gesetzt sind.

Die Deutsche Börse AG wird den erfolgreichen Versand der Kits überwachen und bei Übertragungsproblemen automatisch eine erneute Übertragung für den nächsten Tag veranlassen. Zusätzlich steht die Software ab den zuvor genannten Terminen zum Herunterladen auf der Webseite
der EEX unter dem folgenden Pfad zur Verfügung:

Installation:
Bitte installieren Sie die Update Kits umgehend auf den MISSes und Workstations, da Unterstützung nur für die aktuellen Xetra Release 9.1-Softwareversionen erfolgen kann.
Details zur Installation können Sie den „Installation Notes (readme file)“ für die Xetra Release 9.1
Update Kits entnehmen, die zusammen mit den Software Kits versandt werden.
Verteilung der Software über Java Web Start für WebAccess-Kunden
An die WebAccess-Kunden werden alle Frontend-Software-Komponenten über die von der Deutsche Börse Systems AG betreuten Web Start-Server verteilt. Über das Starten der auf

vorhandenen Applikationen wird der Download-Prozess initiiert.
Die entsprechende Xetra Release 9.1-Simulations- bzw. Produktionssoftware wird jeweils am Montag nach Versandstart für den automatischen Download bereitstehen. Nach erfolgreichem Download können sich Web-Access-Kunden anschließend in das jeweilige Xetra-Backend einloggen.
Wichtig:
Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass der Java-Cache und der Browser-Cache vor dem Starten des Card
Reader Services geleert wurden.

Dear trading participants,
This circular provides details about distribution and installation of the above mentioned Xetra Release 9.1 update kits.
The update kits contain the following adjustments:

Amendments by using dynamic filters
•
With the function “Add Using” for quotes all data will be transferred correctly to the quote
entry window
The hotfix (replacement file) distributed on December 1, 2008 is contained in the update kits.

Each member will receive both update kits, i.e. the kit for SUN Solaris 10 and the kit for Microsoft
Windows.
Please make sure that the report MISSes of your Xetra simulation or production environments will
be reachable without interruption on the named distribution dates to enable the file transfer.
Please check that the necessary read and write permissions for files and folders are set correctly.

Deutsche Börse AG will monitor the successful distribution of the kits. In case of any transfer problem, another transfer for the next day will be initiated automatically. In addition, the software will be
posted on the website of EEX for downloading under the following path:
www.eex.com > Download > Software & Installation > Xetra > Simulation / Production
Installation:
Please install the update kits immediately on the MISSes and workstations. Support will only be
provided on the basis of the most recent software version for Xetra Release 9.1.
For further details about installation, please refer to the “Installation Notes (readme file)” for Xetra
Release 9.1 simulation update kit 1 which will be distributed together with the software kits.
Web Access Software Distribution via Java Web Start
For WebAccess customers, all front-end software components are distributed through the Web
Start servers managed by Deutsche Börse Systems AG. By starting the available applications on

the download process will be initiated.
The respective Xetra Release 9.1 simulation or production software will be available for automatic
downloading on each Monday after distribution start. After the download has been completed, WebAccess customers will be able to log in to the Xetra back-end.
Important:
Please ensure that the Java cache and the browser cache have been cleared before starting
WebAccess.
