Die offizielle Wiederveröffentlichung des Dub Klassiker "Scientist Meets The Space Invaders" ist als 2CDEdition mit zehn zusätzlichen Tracks im 6-Panel Digipak und ausführlichen Linernotes erhältlich! Die
Aufnahmen des Originalalbum von 1981 finden sich auf der ersten CD, sie wurden mit den Musikern der
Roots Radics im Channel One Studio eingespielt und im King Tubby Studio abgemischt. Am Mischpult saß
dabei Hopeton Overton Brown besser bekannt als Scientist und für die Produktion zeichnete Linval
Thomspon verantwortlich. Auf der zweiten CD finden sich als optimale Ergänzung die zehn
Originalversionen, u.a. von Johnny Osbourne, Wailing Souls, Wayne Wade, Sammy Dread, Papa Tullo, Linval
Thomspon, inklusive gesuchten 12-Inch Maxi Versionen. Für dieses herausragende Re-Issue Projekt wurden
die Topadresse was Audio-Mastering in Europa angeht, die Firma Soundmasters in London, engagiert. Das
dazugehöirge Artwork hat bis heute nichts an seiner Faszination verloren - es wurde seinerzeit inspiriert
durch das gleichnamige Videospiel von Tony McDermott gestaltet.
