Reunification Day Tag der Deutschen Einheit is on Thursday, October 3, 2013. School
is out for all children!
Parent Networking Event at the GISSV
~Parent Networking starts into its second year About one year ago our "Share YOUR Knowledge – Create
YOUR Network" events were initiated to offer an opportunity for
working GISSV parents to meet and network. Every six weeks one
of our parents would hold a presentation about their company, and
grant some insight into their professional lives.
We have received many inquiries about "Share YOUR Knowledge –
Create YOUR Network" in the new school year, and are happy to
announce the next event. Join us on:
Monday, October 28th, 2013, from 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Team Seeking Appealing Items
To raise funds for our new campus there will be a silent auction
and raffle at the upcoming Weihnachtsmarkt. We are looking for
appealing items or experiences. This could be a test ride with a
newly developed car or gadget, an unusual factory tour (e.g., a
tour of the Tesla factory), a weekend getaway, a backstage pass,
sports tickets, a signed football/baseball, etc.

GISSV String Quartett at Oktoberfest,
Mountain View, October 5th Mountain View will celebrate Oktoberfest again! This year's
Mountain View Oktoberfest is hosted by Stein's Beer Garden and
takes place October 5th & 6th, 2013. Dust off your lederhosen and
dirndls and show support to the GISSV String Quartett, which
will be performing at the event on Saturday, October 5th from
11:45am-12:45pm!
