Ben Bova
Benjamin William Bova wurde am 8. November 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania geboren. Er
studierte Journalismus und war Redakteur einiger Raumfahrt-Zeitschriften. Danach wurde er
Marketing-Manager eines Forschungslaboratoriums in Massachusetts und arbeitete am
amerikanischen Raumfahrtprogramm mit. Er ist Präsident Emeritus der nationalen
Raumfahrtgesellschaft National Space Society. Er war Herausgeber der Zeitschriften "Analog" und
"Omni". Für seine Herausgeberschaft von "Analog" erhielt er insgesamt sechsmal den Hugo Award.
Außerdem war er Präsident der Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA). Von der
California Coast University erhielt er 1996 den Titel eines Doktors der Erziehungswissenschaften.
Ben Bova lebt heute mit seiner Familie in Florida.
