oder durch vorausgegangene konservierende Behandlung geschwächte, Zahnkrone vor. Um Komplikationen wie Kronen- und Wurzelfrakturen vorzubeugen
wurde die Serie tiefgreifender Zahnzangen entwickelt.
Many teeth that have to be extracted have already a weakend crown due to
a previous caries / filling treatment. Our Deep Grip Forceps avoid complications like crown or root fractures in these cases.

Modifizierter Hebel nach Beck
Der neue modifizierte Beck Heber erlaubt eine
optimierte Interdental Luxation. Herkömmliche
Wurzelheber verfügen über einen runden
Instru­mentenrücken.
D. h. man luxiert faktisch auf einem Radius. Das
Pro­blem dabei ist, dass ein Radius keine Abstützung geben kann. Man hat max. 2 Hypomochlien
(Abstützungspunkte), die für die hebende Kraft am
Zahn sorgen. Mit dem neuen Beck Design wird die
Anzahl der Hypomochlien (Abstützungspunkte)
auf 5 erhöht. Im Ergebnis verlängert sich die
einwirkende Hebekraft während der Luxation um
mehr als das Doppelte, was zu einem effektiveren
Ergebnis führt.
Modified Elevator Beck
The new modified Beck Elevator allows an
­optimized Interdental-Luxation. Standard elevators
have a round back at the working end. That means
we luxate factual on a radius. The Problem is, that
a radius can’t give brace support. You have only
max. 2 Hypomochlien brace support points, which
care for the lifting ­power at the tooth. With the
new Beck design the number of Hypomochlien
brace support points is increased on 5. As a result
the operating lifting power extends d­ uring the
Luxation, more than double the time.
Durch den feinen Ellipsenschliff an der
Instru­mentenspitze und der planförmigen
Fläche ist ein schonendes Eindringen in
den Interdentalraum bzw. Periodontalspalt
optimal ­gewährleistet.
Bedingt durch die Formgebung der Instrumentenspitze stehen 180° hebende Kraft
am zu extrahierenden Zahn zur Verfügung.
(Herkömmliche Heber weisen weniger als 90°
­hebende Kraft auf.) Die Extraktion wird so
deutlich unterstützt.

Durch die spezielle Formgebung ist eine axial

zu vermeiden, da dies zu Bruch führen kann.

Trennung der Scharpey’schen Fasern mit dem neuen SCHWERT
Periotom.
Um eine möglichst atraumatische Zahnextraktion durchzuführen, ist es angebracht vor dem Einsatz eines
Wurzelhebers oder einer Zahnzange die Scharpey’schen Fasern mittels eines Periotoms zu durchtrennen. Hierzu
wird das Periotom vor der Extraktion durch den Sulcus gezogen. Die ordnungsgemäße Anwendung schont die
umliegende Gingiva und das Periost. Das SCHWERT P-LUX Griffdesign garantiert dabei ein sicheres und taktiles
Handling. Besonders hervorzuheben ist dabei die außergewöhnlich hohe Stabilität der Klinge. Die
scharfe Klinge ist dabei flexibel und passt sich optimal der Wurzelkontur an. Gleichzeitig kann ein hoher
Druck aufgebaut werden. Dies wir durch einen besonders flexiblen Medizinstahl mit Memoryeffekt erreicht.
Cutting of Sharpey‘s fibres with the new SCHWERT
Periotome.
To accomplish an atraumatic extraction the Sharpey‘s fibres should be separated by using a Periotome primary
to the use of extraction forceps or elevators. Therefore the Periotome is driven thru the sulcus. The proper use
prevents the surrounding gingiva and the periost. The SCHWERT P-LUX handle design secures a safe and tactile
handling. The blade of this periotome has to be highlighted specially – the blade is flexible and adapts
perfectly to root structures, simultaneously due to its high stability it is possible to gain a certain
pressure. This is possible by choosing a special medical stainless steel and hardening treatment.

Bei den neuen P-LUX Extraktionsinstrumenten handelt es sich um die moderne, universelle und komplette
Serie von Extraktionsinstrumenten in einem Tray.
Das neue Griffdesign ist höchst ergonomisch, verhindert ein unbeabsichtigtes Abrutschen während des
Gebrauchs und garantiert außerdem eine direkte und kontrollierte Kraftübertragung. Zahn- und Wurzelfrakturen

In order to correct extensive bone defects, an intraoral
extraction of bone material from another site of the
jaw is necessary in many cases. Larger bone pieces
or bone blocks respectively can be extracted with the
help of e.g. a trephine drill (Page 19).

Der Knochenschaber dient zum Sammeln von autologem Knochenmaterial. Diese manuelle Gewinnung
gewährleistet eine optimale Zellvitalität und die
Resorption wird reduziert. Dadurch kann der Gebrauch
von Knochenersatzmaterial vermieden werden.
Während des Schabens wird der Knochen in der
darunterliegenden Kammer gesammelt und gleichzeitig
mit Blut vermischt. Das Knochenmaterial kann dann
direkt aus der Kammer implantiert werden. Die Klinge
ist bis ca. 30 Anwendungen geeignet.
The bone scraper is intended for gaining of autologous
bone material. This manual working assures an optimal
cell viability and reduced absorption. This avoids the
use of a bone substitute.
The bone is collected in the underlying chamber while
scraping and mixed up with blood simultaneously. The
bone material may be implanted directly out of the
chamber. The blade is suited for up to 30 applications.

Die versehentliche Perforation der Sinusmembran ist
eine Kompli­kation, die häufig während der Anhebung
des Sinusbodens (­ Sinuslift, SBE) auftritt. Das neue
SCHWERT Sinuslift-Instrumen­tarium erhöht durch
stumpfe, flexible Arbeitsenden mit „Swing-Effekt“ die
Taktilität und das operative Feingefühl bei der direkten
Sinusbodenelevation. Durch die spezielle Formgebung
und Beschaffenheit des Edelstahls zwischen Griff
und aktivem Part wird leichter Druck abgefedert und
dem Operateur eine direkte Rückmeldung vermittelt.
Gleichzeitig wird die Perforationsgefahr der Schneiderschen Membran auf ein Minimum reduziert.
Bereits bei der Entwicklung wurde auf eine besonders
praktikable Handhabung geachtet. Durch die verschieden abgewinkelten Enden wird die Navigation auch in
schwer zugänglichen Bereichen erleichtert. Die Instrumentenlinie umfasst sechs Küretten-Figuren um der
jeweiligen OP-Situation optimal gerecht zu werden.
Ergänzt werden diese durch Stopfer- und Löffelinstrument zur Einbringung des Augmentats.
Flexible Sinus-Lift Curettes – for an optimum
sensitivity during the direct lift procedure
The perforation of the Schneiderian membrane is a
complication that often occurs during a maxillary sinus
floor augmentation procedure. The new SCHWERT
Sinus-Lift Instruments increase the sensitivity by blunt
and flexible working tips with “Swing-Effect”. Because
of their special shapes and the characteristic of the
stainless steel between the handle and the active part,
light pressure is cushioned and gives the operator a
direct and sensitive response.
At the same time the risk to perforate the Schneiderian
membrane is reduced to a minimum. Already at the
development the focus was a practicable handling.
Because of varying angulations and shapes of the
active parts also in difficult areas they are easy to
navigate also in difficult areas. The line of curettes
consists of six different figures for every situation. They
are complemented by spoon and condenser to place
the bone graft.

Durch die genau 1,5 mm dicken Messdorne kann
sofort der maximale Durchmesser des Implantats bestimmt werden. Für maximale Stabilität, sollte immer
der größtmögliche Durchmesser gewählt werden.
Nach wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen sollte eine
Knochenwandung von mindestens 1,5 mm Dicke erhalten werden um ein Resorbieren des Knochens nach
der Implantation auszuschliessen.
For a maximum stability always the widest possible
implant diameter should be chosen. By the exactly
1.5 mm measuring rods, the implants maximum
diameter is for direct reading.
Due to the latest scientific research in order to avoid
­bones resorbtion after the implantological treatment,
there should be a wall of at least 1.5 mm of bone
­material to each side.

am Nonius über die IN Markierung sofort der maximal
mögliche Implantatdurchmesser abgelesen werden.
Eine korrekte Messung wird durch Anlegen der Messdorne unter Berührung des Zahnhalses der Nachbarzähne vorgenommen. Über die OUT Markierung ist

it is possible to read directly the maximum implant
diameter from the IN mark. A correct measurement is
performed by applying the rods at the cervix dentis of
the neighboring teeth. From the OUT mark you may
read the the overall measure.

distance to the neighbouring implant / tooth. If there
is a neigbour implant it is possible to use one rod as
spacer for the minimum distance of the next drill.
3. Am distalen Ende der Krekeler-Messlehre befindet
sich außerdem eine Bohrlehre zur Bohrerführung und
eine 5 bzw. 7 mm Markierung zur Messung der Kiefer­
kammbreite von crestal. Eine sofortige Beurteilung
nach ausreichendem Knochenangebot ist somit schnell
und einfach möglich.

find a drilling guide and a 5 and 7 mm graduation
to measure the patients alveolar ridge from crestal.

In order to make a corrective impression, at first the
impression tray is charged with very hard Putty impression material and then placed on the alignment with
locked lid.
1. Nach der Aushärtung und Entfernung wird der
Abdruck wie gewöhnlich beschnitten und zur Kontrolle
reponiert.

the impression is cut as usual and reset for control.
3. Anschließend wird der Abdruckpfosten eingeschraubt,
der Löffel mit dünnfließendem Korrekturmaterial
beschickt und nach intraoraler Umspritzung der Zähne
und des Pfostens reponiert. Nach Aushärtung wird
die Verschraubung gelöst und der fertige Abdruck
entnommen.
