Leipzig/Halle Airport is 18 km north-east of Leipzig, off the Schkeuditz motorway
intersection. It is easily accessible from the A14 and A9 motorways.

BY RAIL/BY BUS
IC trains from Hanover, Halle, Magdeburg and Leipzig stop every hour at the airport’s train
station.
The FlughafenExpress – an airport express train operated by Deutsche Bahn – runs every 30
minutes (5.22 am – 11.22 pm from the airport, at least once an hour during the night) between
Leipzig central station and the airport. The journey, including a stop at the new exhibition
centre, takes 14 minutes. A single ticket costs 3.20 €.
There is also a FlughafenExpress that runs every hour to Halle central station (5.03 am –
11.03 pm from the airport).

BY TAXI
Taxis can be found right outside Terminal B.
The journey to Leipzig City Centre takes approx. 30 minutes, and approx. 40 minutes to
Halle.
The fare from Leipzig central train station to the airport is approx. 30 €.
PARKING
Short stay car park:
On Level 2 of the multi-storey car park there is a short stay parking zone for loading and
unloading. This is free for the first 20 minutes (after this the charges are 1.50 € / hour, 16
€/day, 55 €/week). Direct and weather-protected access to the check-in area is provided from
this level. You will also find trolleys here, making it easy to transport your baggage.
Long stay car park:
Car parks P2, P4, P20 and P5 are designated long stay car parks. Parking charges are 7 €/day;
45 €/7 days; 60 €/14 days.
INFORMATION
The airport information desk is located on the ground floor of Terminal B. It is open round the
clock.

There is a bank branch in both Terminals A and B, and an ATM in Terminal B opposite the
Departures Area.
SPECIAL ASSISTANCE
Leipzig/Halle Airport is designed to provide good disabled access. Terminal B and the
Central Terminal can be entered without any obstacles. Restaurants, conference rooms,
waiting and standby areas in the upper floor can be reached by wheelchair. Toilet facilities for
the disabled are located on the ground floor and upper floor of Terminal B as well as in the
Central Terminal. Terminal B also has telephones for the disabled. If you require assistance,
please contact the Airport Information Desk which is located in Terminal B. If required,
someone will accompany you from the check-in desk to the aircraft or from the aircraft to
baggage collection and the exit.

Der Flughafen Leipzig / Halle befindet sich 18 km nordwestlich von Leipzig am
Autobahnkreuz Schkeuditz. Er ist von den Autobahnen A14 und A9 aus günstig zu erreichen.

Bahn:
Am Flughafenbahnhof halten stündlich ICs aus Hannover, Halle/Saale, Magdeburg und
Leipzig.
Der FlughafenExpress der Deutschen Bahn verkehrt im 30 Min.-Takt (ab Flughafen von
05:22 - 23:22 Uhr, nachts mindestens einmal stündlich) zwischen dem Leipziger
Hauptbahnhof und dem Flughafenbahnhof. Die Fahrzeit beträgt, inklusive eines Halts am
neuen Messegelände, 14 Minuten. Der Preis für eine einfache Fahrt beträgt 3,20 €.
Zudem gibt es stündlich einen FlughafenExpress nach Halle Hauptbahnhof (ab Flughafen
von 05:03 - 23:03 Uhr),Fahrzeit ca. 12 Min.
Bus:
Es bestehen Bus-Verbindungen mit Delitzsch und Schkeuditz.TAXI
Taxis stehen direkt vor Terminal B bereit.
Die Fahrtdauer beträgt von der Leipziger City ca. 30 Minuten, von Halle ca. 40 Minuten.
Die Fahrt vom Hauptbahnhof Leipzig zum Flughafen kostet etwa 30 €.
PARKEN
Kurzparken:
Auf der zweiten Ebene des Parkhauses befindet sich eine Kurzparkzone zum Be- und
Entladen, die 20 Minuten kostenfrei genutzt werden kann (danach 1,50 €/Stunde, 17 €/Tag, 60
€/Woche). Von dieser Ebene aus ist ein direkter und wettergeschützter Zugang zum Check-InBereich möglich. Hier finden Sie auch Gepäckwagen vor, die Ihnen einen bequemen
Transport des Gepäckes ermöglichen.
Dauerparken:
Für Langzeitparken sind die Parkplätze P2, P4, P20 und P5 vorgesehen. Die Parkgebühren
betragen 7,50€/Tag; 47€/7 Tage; 62€/14 Tage.

Im Terminal B und beim Check-In gibt es mehrere Geschäfte mit einem breiten Angebot, das
u.a. Bekleidung, Reisezubehör, Presseerzeugnisse, Blumen, Souvenirs und eine Bäckerei
umfasst.Zwei Restaurants, zwei Bars und ein Bistro sind im Terminal B und beim Check-In
vorhanden. Ferner gibt es einen Duty-free-Shop für internationale Passagiere sowie eine
Lottoannahme und einen Fotoautomaten.
ASSISTENZ FÜR BEHINDERTE
Der Flughafen Leipzig/Halle ist behindertengerecht ausgestattet. Die Ein- und Zugänge zum
Terminal B sowie zum Zentralterminal sind ohne Hindernisse passierbar. Restaurant,
Konferenzräume, Wartebereiche und Abrufräume im Obergeschoss erreichen Sie per
Fahrstuhl. Im Erd- und Obergeschoss des Terminal B sowie im Zentralterminal befinden sich
behindertengerechte Toiletten. Im Terminal B befinden sich des Weiteren
behindertengerechte Telefone.
