Dear Sir/Madam,
As of 1 July 2006 the EU member states resolved that new electrical and electronic devices on the market must not contain the
following substances:
mercury
cadmium
lead
chrome VI (chromate)
PBB and PBDE (fire retardants)
Danfoss is also working to implement the Directive and the associated WEEE Directive as quickly as possible.
However, we are now able to inform you that the products that we are supplying to you do not contain the above substances in
relevant concentrations. This statement is applicable regardless of whether the products that we are marketing are electrical or
electronic devices as defined by the Directive (Art. 2 with Annex 1A/B).
