Punk´s alive and well: The Broilers are the second band on Duisburgs bill and the
German Punkband will make sure nobody suffers from silence that night. The
Düsseldorf based band is considered “the next big thing” in the German music scene
and they are willing to proof that they can rock the stage. Together with the second
band Danko Jones it´s gonna be a loud night and it might be a good idea to consider
ear plugs to prevent bleeding ears.
For the contest we are happy to announce international superstars like Brett
“Maddog” Banasiewicz (BMX Dirt Jump) and Lance McDermott (Mountainbike
Slopestyle)

On April 17th Telekom Playground celebrate not only their 5th anniversary but also a
tastemaker of the Boilers upcoming new album. Next to Danko Jones they are the second
confirmed act for the Duisburg event. At the end of the day 3 bands and a high level
international action sport competition will kick off this year’s festival season.
Other than a lot of different bands, who reach their peak in the first years, the broilers took it
easy with the development of their career. For more than 17 years, highschool buddies
Sammy, Andi, Ines, Ron and Chris are playing in a band and created their own sound with a
mixture of punk, rockabilly, ska and intelligent lyrics.

wonderboy Brett “Maddog” Banasiewicz confirmed, who won already the Telekom
Playgrounds street category in Berlin least year. Furthermore Dew Tour Overall winner 2010
(Dirt), Brandon Dosch and “Big in Bavaria “ second, Ben Hennon, will join us as well. In the
Mountainbike Sloopstyle we welcome internationals top riders Lance McDermott, Sam
Reynolds and Benny Korthaus. Next to the invited Pros, eight riders fight for qualification at
the Telekom Local Support Dirt Challenge on February 19th in Mainz.
