Zug und U-Bahn gut. Ich habe auch jeden Freitag frei und donnerstags
nur zwei Vorlesungen. Aber jetzt habe ich bald meine ersten Prüfungen.

Every year pupils in Austria have to spend either 1 day (8th class) or 2 days (9th class)
on work experience (schnuppern).
In this article three pupils comment on their work experience placements.
Julia Ertl:
Ich war im Kindergarten schnuppern. Ich habe viel
gelernt, zum Beispiel wie viel Stress und Arbeit es
in diesem Beruf gibt. Ich durfte mit den Kindern
spielen und ihnen Geschichten vorlesen. Ich fand
es sehr toll.
Georg Pichler:
Ich war im März bei der Versicherung LML
schnuppern. Meine Kollegen und der Chef waren
sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Ich fand das
Arbeitsklima sehr gut; es hat mir Spaß gemacht. Um
halb acht begann mein Arbeitstag und 15.30 war er
schon wieder zu Ende.
Alexander Mittermaier:
Am ersten Tag war ich Maschinenbautechniker in
der Firma Agrana. Ich fand es super. Ich reparierte
Sachen. Ich arbeitete mit einer Hydraulikpresse und
vielen anderen Geräten.
Am zweiten Tag durfte ich als Kochlehrling im
Gasthaus Brummeier schnuppern.
Ich durfte
folgende Tätigkeiten ausüben:
Salat waschen,
Zwiebeln schneiden, Kartoffeln schälen. Es war
sehr anstrengend, weil ich fünf Stunden lang stehen
musste.

Seitdem meine Eltern getrennt sind, verbringe ich mehr Zeit mit meiner
Mutter, mit der ich zusammen wohne. Ich sehe meinen Vater einmal im
Monat. Im Sommer nimmt er mich öfters mit zum Motorradfahren. Mit
meiner Mutter gehe ich im Sommer oft Rollschuhlaufen oder wir arbeiten im
Garten. Im Winter gehen wir kegeln oder wir spielen zusammen Videospiele.
Benjamin Lehmann, 19 Jahre:
Meine Mom ist meine beste Freundin. Sie ist extrem sportlich und wir
gehen dreimal pro Woche gemeinsam joggen oder machen anderen
Sport zusammen. Mein Vater arbeitet unter der Woche sehr viel, aber am
Wochenende schauen wir uns im Fernsehen Fußballspiele an oder gehen
italienisch essen.
Sandra Schmidt, 17 Jahre:
Ich mache nicht viel mit meinen Eltern, weil ich lieber etwas mit meinen
Freunden mache. Ich fahre trotzdem jeden Sommer mit meinen Eltern
in den Urlaub. Meine Schwester kommt auch mit. Ich finde das ganz gut.
Meine Eltern können aber im Urlaub oft peinlich sein, weil sie viel zu laut sind.
