Welcome to the 5th annual Lumiere Arts Festival!
We’re thrilled you could join us for the fifth edition of Sydney’s contemporary
art-at-night festival! Each year, the festival continues to grow as a signature
event, bringing our community together to collectively celebrate and
experience the arts. Once again this year, our volunteer board has invited
talented artists from around the country and right here in Cape Breton
to transform our everyday spaces into something extraordinary. So, go
exploring, meet the artists, and experience Sydney in a whole new light.

How To Use The Guide
This guide contains descriptions of each of the projects featured in this
year’s festival. Each project has a number that corresponds to a location
on the Artist Locator Map (page 24-25). Some of the events are time
sensitive performances. For a listing of the events that take place at
scheduled times throughout the event, please see the Schedule of Events
(page 22-23). If you need more information or have any questions, please
seek out one of our helpful volunteers sporting bright yellow toques and
Lumière t-shirts. We also want your feedback! Please fill out one of our
short surveys available at one of our many info tables around the festival
to help us make our festival better each year.

Bio-luminescence
Savannah Anderson | Howie Centre, NS
United Heritage Church basement, 500 Charlotte St.
Self-contained light in the absence of sunlight has
existed on our planet for ages, long before the
invention of harnessing electricity. This kind of
self-contained light is the by-product of chemical
reactions created by living organisms, some of
which have lived for a long time within the deepest
parts of the ocean. Bio-luminescence is necessary
for survival when an organism spends most of
its life in the darkness. This exhibit shares the
remarkable brilliance these creatures manifest through
an immersive visual experience.
La lumière autonome, en absence de rayons de soleil, existe
sur notre planète depuis des siècles, bien avant l’invention
de l’électricité. Cette lumière autonome est le produit dérivé
des réactions chimiques chez certains organismes, qui ont
vécu depuis très longtemps dans les abysses de l’océan.
La bioluminescence est nécessaire pour la survivance
de ces créatures marines qui passent la plupart de leurs
vies dans l’obscurité. Je tiens à partager avec vous l’éclat
impressionnante que ces créatures produisent, à travers cette
expérience visuelle immersive.

The Machinists
The Bandshell Players | Sydney, NS

Performance times: 7:30, 9:00 and 11:00 pm
Duration: 30-35 minutes
Rival inventors face each other in a battle of wit and song in
this musical, mobile, improvisational Victorian vehicle. Every
hour, The Machinists will ratchet to life and roll about the
gas-lit boulevards of downtown Sydney on a purpose-built,
human-powered wagon. After thirty-five minutes of music,
hysteria and volatile audience interaction, they will explode
from extreme boiler pressure before being reassembled to do
it all again.

d’intelligence et de chant dans ce véhicule victorien, qui
est à la fois musical, mobile et improvisé. À tous les heure,
The Machinists s’animera et roulera dans les boulevards
éclairés au gaz du centre-ville de Sydney, sur un wagon à
propulsion humaine construite à cet effet. Après vingt-cinq
minutes de musique, d’hystérie et d’interaction explosive avec
les spectateurs, celui-ci explosera en raison de la pression
extrême de la chaudière, avant d’être remonté afin de tout
recommencer.

The Beaton Institute Archives will present a selection of
archival films accompanied by live music to emulate the
experience of watching a silent movie.

The fairy tale heroine wanders through an isolated
landscape, often seeking friendship from the birds
and woodland creatures around her. Song is the
shared language between the heroine and the
birds, and therefore contains the vocabulary which
helps them communicate. She sang to overcome her
loneliness has its origins from the tradition of heroines
confiding in songbirds. Scattered throughout the festival
are fifty porcelain songbirds awaiting their chance to sing. The
heroine, regally dressed, will wander from bird to bird hoping
to win their friendship through song. Please note: in case of
rain, this project will be located in the McConnell Library.
L’héroïne d’un conte de fées se promène dans la nature
isolée et sauvage, en trouvant l’amitié chez les oiseaux et les
créatures de la forêt. Le chant est la langue partagée entre
l’héroïne et ces oiseaux, et il s’agit donc des paroles avec
lesquelles elles communiquent. She sang to overcome her
loneliness provient de la tradition des héroïnes de contes
qui se confient aux oiseaux chanteurs. À travers le festival
se trouvent cinquante oiseaux chanteurs en porcelaine, tous
attendant leur chance à chanter. L’héroïne, vêtue en toute

The Space Between
Kate Boyle | Albert Bridge, NS
Doktor Luke’s - a respectable coffee house, 54 Prince St.
This exhibit is a dual video/stop motion animation installation
exploring the conflicting relationship between urban and rural
living in the Maritimes. It examines the desire for both town
and country living and the sense that one must choose one
or the other. The installation is composed of a few paintings
on display in the café, as well as a sculpture installation just
outside its doors.
Une installation artistique d’animation à la fois sous forme
vidéo et en ‘stop motion’ qui étudie la relation conflictuelle
entre la vie urbaine et rurale dans les provinces Maritimes.
Cette œuvre nous démontre le désir simultané pour la ville et
la vie rurale, et le sens d’obligeance que l’on doit choisir l’un
ou l’autre. Quelques œuvres sont exposés dans le café et une
installation de sculptures se trouve tout devant les portes du
café.

Brilliant Labs is a movement intended to grow creativity and
the entrepreneurial spirit in our youth and within our schools.
Brilliant Labs is powered by a collective impact model and
a coalition of industry and NGOs who have an interest
in growing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering,
Entrepreneurship, Arts and Mathematics) in our schools and
communities.
Brilliant Labs est un mouvement qui a l’intention de faire
croître la créativité et l’esprit d’entreprise chez notre jeunesse
et dans nos écoles. Brilliant Labs est alimenté par un modèle
d’impact collectif ainsi qu’une alliance entre l’industrie et les

For every page of your favourite comic, a
beleaguered cartoonist with a question mark of
a spine wearily fills in thousands of black lines
in a misguided effort to create tone from light
and shadow. Burrow into the hypnotic tedium of
pen and ink illustration on a magnificently large
canvas. Experience the unusually stony patience
unique to the practitioners of one of art’s most
intensely boring creative processes.

To Sea is a lulling, meditative installation combining
digital projection, sound, and a screen of water
that evokes the experience of seeing a loved one
slowly depart from shore.
To Sea est une installation artistique apaisante
et méditative qui combine la projection digitale,
le son, et un écran composé d’eau qui évoquent
l’expérience de voir un être cher partant lentement du
rivage.

Art Hits the Wall Presenting Myself

Cape Breton Centre for Craft & Design welcomes Art Hits the
Wall - Presenting Myself, a travelling exhibition showcasing
hand hooked rugs and quilts as wall art, created by Nova
Scotian artisans. Art Hits the Wall is a challenge for artists
to “whip rugs off the floor, tear quilts off the beds and create
them as hanging art.” Presenting Myself is a personal
introspective journey of textile artisans to create an image or
collage that reflects themselves. This exhibition also explores
the great question of Lewis Carroll, “Who in the world am I?
Ah, that is the great puzzle.”

Art Hits the Wall – Presenting Myself, une exposition
itinérante composé de tapis hookés et d’édredons fabriqués
à la main, créés par des artisans de la Nouvelle-Écosse.

annual weekend event called the Cape Breton
Community Band Fall Fest. This event occurs
during the last full weekend of September and for
the past four years, has coincided with Lumière.
Join us as we bring music to the streets of Sydney,
marking the start of the Lumière festivities!

eyes open for the Library Bookmobile, which will be parked
somewhere in the downtown area. The Library’s Storytellerin-Residence will be on board to entertain and welcome you.
Come and listen to stories or songs, meet your neighbour, or
maybe check out a book. You never know what you’ll find on
the Bookmobile at Night.

future)

Love Letters (from the future) is an interactive and bilingual
walk through familiar streets with an old friend. It’s an
experience for one audience member at a time.

Performances of the children’s books (1)
Backwards Day (Bear Bergman) and (2) A
Princess of Great Daring (Tobi Hill Meyer). In these
delightful stories, our young heroes celebrate the
emergence of their gendered selves in defiance of
the traditional expectations for their sexed bodies.
These family-friendly performances are adapted and
staged by CBU faculty and local youth. Also look for
our “Gender Fairies” around the festival, reading from Bear
Bergman’s Is That for a Boy or a Girl. Ask one for a gender
transformation if you are feeling daring tonight!
Ce sont des performances de livres pour enfants : (1)
Backwards Day (Bear Bergman) et (2) A Princess of Great
Daring (Tobi Colline Meyer). Dans ces histoires charmantes
nos jeunes héros célèbrent l’émergence de leurs identités
sexospécifiques au mépris des attentes traditionnelles. Ces
performances familiales sont adaptées et mises en scène
par les professeurs de CBU et par des jeunes de la région.
Chaque histoire sera animée trois fois, tout au long de la
soirée. Ouvrez aussi l’œil pour nos «fées de genre» dans le
festival, qui vont lire des extraits du texte de Bear Bergman Is

15 Bedtime Beings
Ashley Anne Clark | Charlottetown, PE
Civic Centre Boardwalk Stage, 320 Esplanade
Bedtime Beings is a public installation based on misplaced
childhood monsters. Recycled bed sheets are used as the
canvas in this project, where the creatures are drawn with
ink. A familiar floral pattern becomes the skin of these beings
and camouflages them while in a bedroom setting, but makes
them seem out of place in public. Their presence evokes
emotions from the viewers’ own being and represents some of
their unseen fears.
Bedtime Beings est une installation artistique publique basée
sur des monstres qui se sont égarés pendant notre enfance.
De draps recyclés sont utilisés comme toile dans ce projet, et
les créatures y sont dessinées avec de l’encre. Un motif floral
familier devient la peau de ces bêtes, ce qui les camoufle
bien dans une chambre à coucher, mais est déplacé parmi le
grand public. Leurs présences évoquent des émotions chez le
spectateur et représente les craintes que nous cachons tous.

16 Circle Dance

Circle dancing is probably the oldest known dance
formation and was part of community life from when
people first started to dance. It is an ancient tradition
common to many cultures for marking special
occasions and encouraging togetherness. The aim
always is to experience the joy of dancing with others and
to create a sense of well-being and community.
Il est fort probable que la danse de cercle est l’une des plus
anciennes formes de danse connues, et a fait partie de la vie
communautaire dès que les gens ont commencé à danser. Il s’agit
d’une tradition ancienne partagée parmi de nombreuses autres
cultures, qui s’est servie pour marquer les occasions spéciales et
pour encourager la solidarité. Connaître la joie de danser en groupe
et de créer un sens de bien-être collectif sont les buts principaux de

17 Polar Opposites
Nicole Dixon and Julien Strasfeld | New Waterford, NS
Exterior of the Royal Hotel, 345 Esplanade
Combining and juxtaposing time-lapse photography of
Dawson City, Yukon’s aurora borealis, with found and
original recordings of the natural and human-made
world, Polar Opposites tells a story of the earth and
humanity’s fraught relationship—how humanity’s
magnetic draw to and fascination with the natural world
ultimately marks and even harms this world.
Cette installation artistique est à la fois une combinaison
et une juxtaposition de photographie accélérée des aurores
boréales à Dawson City, au Yukon, avec des enregistrements
trouvés et originaux du monde naturel et artificiel. Polar
Opposites raconte une histoire des relations difficiles entre la terre

18 The good, the bad, and the
ugly. All words have impact.
Jill Ellsworth | Dominion, NS
Timeless Moments, 222 Charlotte St.
Do you remember the nicest thing someone has ever said
to you? It might take you a little while to put your finger on it,
but chances are the most hurtful thing that has been said to
you will come to mind within seconds. The good, the bad, and
the ugly is an interactive exhibit that presents photographs of
various participants, along with their answers to the questions
posed above.

19 Spinning Yarns
Whitney Fawn and the Unspun Heroes |
Scotchtown & Sydney, NS
My Fair Ladies Ethical Emporium, 48 Prince St.
Artist Whitney Fawn teams up with fibre-working group The
Unspun Heroes to create and illustrate tales of intrigue. Watch
as the spinners turn words and fibre into yarn. Imagine! From
story to spun words! Literally! Afterwards, Whitney will work
her magic to bring the story to life with her abstract drawings
and illustrations.
Whitney Fawn, artiste, collabore avec un groupe de tisseurs,
The Unspun Heroes. Ensemble, ils créent et illustrent des
contes pour vous intriguer. Vous remarquerez les tisseurs

20 Chime Tree Forest
Coyote Fletcher | Sydney, NS
Louann’s Cafe, 319 Charlotte St.
Coyote Fletcher has been building unique musical
instruments known as ‘chime trees’ since joining
the Fletcher Valve Drummers in the mid-1990s in
Ontario. In 2005, Coyote and the Fletchers parted
ways. The Fletchers embarked on an international
tour and Coyote moved to Cape Breton where he
continued to build chime trees for any occasion. A
chime tree is a tree-like structure, usually made of
wood and metal from which are hung wind chimes,
bells, gongs, and noisemakers. The improvisational
nature of chime tree construction makes every one
different. Everyone is welcome to play the trees or just listen.
Coyote Fletcher est fabriquant d’instruments de musique
uniques appelés « arbres de carillon » depuis qu’il s’est joint
aux Fletcher Valve Drummers durant le milieu des années
1990 en Ontario. En 2005, Coyote et les Fletchers se sont
séparés. Ils se sont lancés dans une tournée musicale
internationale et Coyote a déménagé au Cap-Breton, où
il a continué à fabriquer des arbres de carillon pour toute
occasion. Un arbre de carillon est une structure en forme
d’arbre, généralement fait de bois et de métaux. Sur cette
structure sont accrochés de carillons éoliens, des cloches,
des gongs, et bruiteurs. Grâce à l’improvisation nécessaire
pour la fabrication de l’arbre de carillon, ceci les rend
tous uniques. Tout le monde est le bienvenu pour jouer les
instruments ou tout simplement écouter.

21 We Talked for Hours
Ellen Furey and Christopher Willes | Montreal, QC
Civic Centre underground parking, 320 Esplanade
Performance time: 8:00 Duration: 3 hours 57 minutes
Ellen Furey and Christopher Willes propose an on-going
public conversation. Ten performers and ten microphones
are placed in front of ten chairs. Over four hours, a collective
will emerge through a proximity of people and voices. During
the event, the arrangement of performers and audience will
change: a circle, a line, close, far. What is found and what
is lost if we face each other, face away, or face an audience
of listeners? The interchanging ten audience members will
create the conversation. Subjects emerge; we agree, disagree
and agree to disagree.
Ellen Furey et Christopher Willes montent un spectacle
sous forme d’une conversation publique que le spectateur
témoigne. Il y a dix interprètes et dix microphones placés en
face de dix chaises. Au cours de quatre heures, un spectacle
se créé lui-même à travers d’une chorégraphie de proximité
entre les personnages et les voix. Tout au long du spectacle,
l’agencement des artistes et du public changera: placés
comme cercle, comme ligne, de près, et, de loin. Qu’estce que nous trouvons, et que perdons-nous face-à-face,
face au dos, ou encore devant un groupe de spectateurs?
Les interprètes, toujours changeants, créent ensemble une
conversation et font entendre ce que le collectif spontané
a à dire. De nouveaux sujets apparaissent; nous sommes
soit d’accord, pas d’accord, ou encore d’accord d’être en
désaccord.

Breton Island. Cape Bretoners submit their “faces”
via social media, and Kirstie captures their faces in
paint. Portraits are displayed in order of completion, so
viewers can see how she improves (and struggles) with
each face.
Venez voir comment un artiste améliore ses compétences avec
l’aide des habitants actuels ou anciens de notre île bien-aimé, le
Cap-Breton. Les Cap-Bretonais soumettent leurs « visages » à
travers les médias sociaux, et Kirsten peint alors leurs portraits.

Unama’ki means Land of the Fog; it is the name given to
this island by the Mi’kmaw people. Join us in a celebration of
Mi’kmaw culture and heritage with an interactive installation
that invites you to enjoy drumming, traditional dance and
regalia, and to listen to a collection of stories and songs.
« Unama’ki » signifie la terre de la brume. Il s’agit du nom
donné à cet île par le peuple Mi’kmaq. Rejoignez-nous pour

Join us in our quintessentially Canadian “rec room”
for a slideshow of our cross-Canada tour, complete
with pictures, sounds and icons that elicit (for some)
a shared Canadian sensibility. You might notice our
Canadian landscape has shifted, or morphed, resulting
from significant legislative, environmental, and social
change – in some cases, things are just being revealed. For
many, our understanding of what it means to be Canadian is
embedded in feelings and memories evoked when looking
at familiar objects, and hearing sounds from our past. In
watching the travel slides, participants may experience a
feeling of, “everything is familiar, and yet nothing is familiar.”
This project is collaborative. We ask participants to share their
vision for Canada on postcards provided, which will be handdelivered to Ottawa.
Rejoignez-nous dans notre « salle de jeux » typiquement
canadien pour un diaporama de notre tournée
pancanadienne. Celle-ci comprend des images, des
sons et des icônes qui évoque (pour certains) le sens
d’être canadien(ne).. Vous remarquerez peut-être que
notre paysage canadien s’est transformé en résultat de
changements législatifs, environnementaux et sociaux - dans
certains cas, ces changement ne se révèlent que récemment.
Pour plusieurs parmi nous, notre sens d’être canadien est
relié aux émotions et les souvenirs évoqués quand on regarde
des objets familiers, et en entendant des sons de notre passé.
En regardant les diapositives de voyage, les spectateurs
peuvent éprouver un sentiment de « tout est familier, et
pourtant rien n’est familier. » Ce projet est collaboratif. Nous
demandons aux spectateurs de partager leur vision pour le

Cape Breton’s culture is often defined by our strong
industrial history, but since the demise of coal and
steel we have lost a significant part of our identity.
The Miner is meant to show that an artistic and
creative culture can lead to a bright future while
still celebrating a past that makes Cape Breton
unique. This piece is dedicated to my mother.
La culture du Cap-Breton est souvent définie par
notre histoire industrielle, mais depuis la disparition
des industries de charbon et d’acier, nous avons perdu
une partie importante de notre identité. The Miner (Le
Mineur) nous démontre qu’une culture artistique et créative
peut mener à un brillant avenir, tout en célébrant le passé qui

Peer into the memory and imagination of a young
girl. This is a narrative piece about a young woman
and her memories of childhood. The viewer peers
into the inner workings of a young woman’s mind,
as a narrative of her journey through childhood
presents itself.
Examinons la mémoire et l’imagination d’une jeune
fille. Il s’agit d’un récit d’une jeune femme et ses
souvenirs d’enfance. Le spectateur observe les rouages

33 Obsession

My art focuses on our society - where we inevitably buy into
the idea of the perfect female body, forever striving to achieve
the nonexistent ideal of what’s considered “beautiful.” Women
have been subtly battered into believing our bodies are socially
unacceptable, and many are fully conscious of the fact that
we’re ranked in accordance to our closeness to “the ideal.”
The more we compete with this impossible notion of beauty,
the more we beat ourselves up over the fact that we’ll never
reach this goal. My art explores and challenges the gender
stereotypes that we inevitably succumb to.
J’ai mis l’accent de mon œuvre sur notre société - où nous
sommes convaincus de l’idée du corps féminin parfait,
recherchant toujours à atteindre un corps idéal considéré
comme étant «beau», mais qui n’existe pas en réalité. Les
femmes ont été battues subtilement, forcées à croire que
nos corps sont inacceptables. Nous sommes pleinement
conscientes du fait que nous sommes classés conformément
à notre proximité avec «l’idéal». Plus nous acceptions cette
notion impossible de la beauté, plus nous croyons que nous
ne serons jamais capable d’atteindre cet objectif. Mon œuvre
examine et défie les stéréotypes de genre auxquels nous
succombons trop souvent.

34 All for Wrought:
Three Men & a Forge
Peter McKinley, Graham Tourneur, and

With skill and some “wrought’n luck”, a team
of three craftsmen will transform a section
of salvaged wrought iron anchor chain into a
functional sword inspired by an 18th century French
Infantryman’s Cutlass and using a combination
of period and modern tools and techniques. This
celebration of century-old wrought iron showcases its
beauty and versatility, as well as the historic significance of
this traditional forging material. The once-familiar sight of
glowing red-hot steel, shooting sparks, and ring of hammer
hitting anvil will again be a part of the Sydney experience.
Avec des habiletés et un peu de chance, une équipe de trois
artisans transformeront une partie d’une chaîne d’ancre en fer
forgé récupérée en épée fonctionnelle inspirée par le coutelas
d’un fantassin français du 18ème siècle, en utilisant une
combinaison d’outils et de techniques modernes et anciennes.
Cette célébration de fer forgé centenaire présente sa beauté
et son adaptabilité, ainsi que l’importance historique de
ce matériel de forgeage traditionnel. La parution de l’acier

35 Shooting Stars

For millennia, artists have been inspired by the night sky, and
Laura Moore is no exception. In this piece, she has created
hundreds of twinkling stars by using a gun to shoot through her
painted sky, which is lit from behind--every bullet hole in the
canvas allows the light to pass through, creating the effect of
a twinkling star. Along with the artwork is a behind-the-scenes
look at how it was made, as well as an original story written
by the artist which tells a story of how stars originally came to
exist.
Depuis des millénaires, les artistes ont été inspirés par le ciel
la nuit, et Laura Moore ne fait pas exception à cette tradition.
Dans son œuvre, elle a créé de centaines d’étoiles scintillantes
en utilisant un fusil pour tirer à travers un ciel peint, éclairé de

For centuries people have used messages in bottles to cast
off their hopes, fears, wisdom and pleas to the sea. There’s
something romantic about sending something out into the
world, not knowing where it may end up or who might happen
upon it. Come visit the tranquil sea, send off your own
message in a bottle and discover the words of others.
Pendant des siècles, les gens ont utilisé des bouteilles jetées
à la mer pour libérer leurs espoirs, leurs craintes, leur sagesse

It’s important to remember the natural beauty that
surrounds us. Imagine yourself curling up on bed of
natural earthly materials as you slip into a slumber.
This sculptural piece is composed of wood, straw,
grass, moss, and leaves. The work takes shape
in the form of a bed and is made of live growing
plants, a hand built bed frame, and hand stitched
textiles made with natural materials.
Il est important de se rappeler de la beauté naturelle
qui nous entoure. Imaginez-vous, relaxant sur un
lit de matériaux naturels en vous vous endormant tout
tranquillement. Cette sculpture est composée de bois, de
paille, de l’herbe, de la mousse et de feuilles. Celle-ci prend

Founded by John and George Abbass in 1946,
Abbass Studios Ltd. has taken over half a million
photographs. These photos capture the diverse
economic, political and cultural heritage of the
area and offer a valuable window into the last
70 years of life in Cape Breton. Abbass Studios
documented Sydney’s changing urban landscape
and now the past will be transposed on the present.
Fondée par John et George Abbass en 1946, l’entreprise

Serra is a live-portrait of a Mermaid, created solely
from beach treasures found throughout the Island.
What does live portrait mean, you ask? Come see
for yourself as this beautiful creation shows you just
how real, make-believe can be.

in creating these paintings, with the help of
one of my summertime favourites: paint filled
water balloons! Together we will create a bold
expression of summertime within a series of three
paintings. Musical accompaniment by Jason Burke.

l’un de mes jeux favoris de l’été, des ballons remplis

45 Heavy Garbage

Heavy Garbage is a multidisciplinary art project showcasing
the culture surrounding the Cape Breton Regional
Municipality’s (CBRM) annual Residential Heavy Garbage
Collection. Curated items found from the curbside of the
2015 heavy garbage collection highlight the sculptural form
of the garbage itself. A photographic display and music invite
the visitor to explore an artistic interpretation of this cultural
phenomenon. An annual event in the CBRM, Heavy Garbage
is both a distinctly Cape Breton experience as well as a
practice that emphasizes the universality of consumerism and
disposal.
Heavy Garbage est un projet d’art multidisciplinaire qui met
en vedette la culture de la collecte d’ordures et d’objets lourds
annuelle de la Municipalité Régionale du Cap-Breton (MRCB).
Les objets trouvés lors de la collecte de 2015 soulignent la
forme sculpturale de la poubelle elle-même. Une présentation
artistique de photographies et de musique invite le spectateur
à explorer ce phénomène culturel. Un événement annuel
dans la MRCB, Heavy Garbage est une expérience
nettement régionale, qui met l’accent sur l’universalité de la
consommation et de l’élimination.

the dark. Come and see local youth artists create
black light art. Children, youth, and families will be
invited to add their names to the walls of art. This
is a visually stunning exhibit that you will not want to
miss.

Every surface provides opportunity to create art.
Using donated drum heads from a local musician,
the young artists at the Whitney Pier Youth Club
created art in a way that invites the light to shine
through them. Whimsically dangling from trees,
these artworks will light up your night with colour
and design.
Toute surface nous donne occasion de créer de
l’art. Utilisant des têtes de tambours donnés par
un musicien local, les jeunes artistes du Whitney
Pier Youth Club créent l’art d’une telle façon qui invite la
lumière de briller à travers eux. Suspendus capricieusement
des arbres, ces œuvres illumineront votre nuit avec couleur et
forme.
