L’Hiver 2016 Yves Delorme évoque une histoire de rencontre
à travers deux personnages, Louise et Gabriel.
Rencontre de genres masculin et féminin, rencontre de caractères et d’atmosphères.
C’est une conversation, un dialogue entre deux univers.
L’identité de ces deux personnages se lit à travers les dessins,
matières et ambiances colorées pour exprimer toute la créativité de cette collection.
L’attention aux qualités et aux détails, les finitions, les accessoires de lit, l’univers du linge de toilette et l’office,
nous donnent à ressentir le vocabulaire textile et la poésie de cette rencontre imaginaire.
Gabriel est un homme élégant et sophistiqué.
Il aime la Mode et la Déco, il est un mélange de sobriété et de désinvolture.
Son caractère s’inspire du style moderne des années 30 : sobre dans les lignes et
sa structure géométrique, décoratif dans son ornementation.
Les modèles « Gabriel » et « Opal » reflètent ce caractère.
Louise est une femme élégante, féminine, douce et forte à la fois.
Elle est une bohème/romantique qui aime les lettres et la nature.
Son caractère est inspiré de l’esprit libre et créatif « Bloomsbury », du même nom que le quartier en Angleterre,
où se retrouvait un groupe d’artistes et d’intellectuels au début du Vingtième siècle.
Virgina Woolf en était la figure la plus emblématique.

2016
Winter 2016 with Yves Delorme evokes the story
of a meeting between two characters, Louise and Gabriel.
A meeting of the masculine and feminine genders, a meeting of characters and of atmospheres.
It is a conversation or a dialogue between two realms.
The identity of our two characters is translated through drawings, materials
and colored ambiance that expresses all the creativity of this collection.
Attention to quality and to details: finishing, bed accessories the bath and kitchen collection
also play into our story with references to textiles and with the poetry of this imaginary meeting.
Gabriel is an elegant and sophisticated man.
He loves fashion and design. He is a combination of sobriety and informality.
His character is inspired by the modern style of the 30s: somber in his lines
and geometric structure, decorative in his ornamentation.
The designs « Gabriel » and « Opal » reflect his character.
Louise is a feminine and elegant woman, mild yet strong.
She is a romantic/bohemian who loves literature and nature.
Her character, inspired by the free and creative spirit of « Bloomsbury », the quarter in Great Britain, where artists
and intellectuals gathered in the early XXth century, is best represented by the iconic figure Virgina Woolf.

Ce dessin évoque le jardin d’hiver.

À la manière d’une mèche de cheveux ou
d’un ruban dont on joue avec les doigts,
le motif coordonné évoque féminité, légèreté et
mouvement.

Much like twirling a lock of hair or a ribbon,
this coordinated design reminds us of femininity,
lightness and movement.

GABRIEL
Entre rigueur du losange et douceur de l’ovale ce
motif all-over peint à la main évoque le vestiaire
masculin, l’esprit costume / cravate / foulard.
L’aquarelle, utilisée dans ce dessin et associée au
satin de coton, donne un aspect velouté aux motifs,
une profondeur aux couleurs, rappelant la lumière
et la richesse des matières cosy, soie et velours.
Between the rigor of the lozenge and the curvature
of the oval, this all-over hand-painted design evokes
a masculine wardrobe: styled suit / necktie / scarf.
Watercolors, used in this drawing and associated
with cotton sateen, give a velvet-like aspect to the
shapes and a depth to the colors, evoking the
lightness and richness of the cosy fabrics of silk and
velvet.
