Proposal: From Health Care Nurse to Geriatric Care Nurse
Offer: Acquiring special competences regarding geriatric care – development of expert know-how for Nurses
The institute of European Health and Social Sciences, founded by EBG e.V., one of our project partners, is offering modules to acquire professional
knowledge, skills and abilities regarding geriatric care.
We discussed the question, if there could be a demand to enlarge the competencies profile of nurses, qualifies as general nurses and working in
geriatric care. We discussed the possible demand for specialised competencies in elderly care. Such developed competencies could rase the quality
in the working processes and the career chances for the nurses.
The Idea is: The project partner EBG e.V. could realise such modules in the frame of mobility measures, promoted by the European programme LdV.
That’s why we ask you to check the contents in the table below. Please look at the tables regarding the demand for nurses and the interest
regarding mobility in selected retirement homes, hospitals or others. May be you ask in retirement homes or other institutions, offering
services for elderlies.
Please check the demand regarding the competencies, written in the table below. And please check the interest on mobility measures. EBG itself has
the interest to make mobility in the other direction – to France, Poland, Italy.....
