On 01.08.2014 a new RailMaster Version 7.00.p26.01 will be loaded.
This RailMaster Version includes changes, enhancements and corrections.
ENHANCEMENTS
Train routes / Journey Course
You can display the complete route of a specific train e.g. ICE, EC/IC and RE trains via RailMaster.
For trains operating purely outside of Germany this service is not available.
You can display the complete route of a specific train using the mask "Ticket Issuance"
or the mask "Booking File Overview".
Mask "Ticket Issuance"
With a right mouse click on the train number a menu opens.
Click on „Journey Course“ and the information from bahn.de will be displayed.

Mask "Booking File Overview"
With a right mouse click on a selected segment a menu opens. Click on “Journey Course”.
The mask „Journey Course – Train Selection“ opens.
Select the train. With a click on the button „Journey Course“ the information from bahn.de will be
displayed.

Masks “Reservation Complete” and “Reservation Express”
If you click the button „Reserve“ in the mask „Ticket Issuance“ all data from the train pair
TGV 9580/81 and TGV 9582/83 Frankfurt(Main) Hbf – Marseille-St-Charles –Frankfurt(Main)Hbf
will be transferred into the mask „Reservation Complete“ or „Reservation Express“ now.
This saves time and minimizes errors in comparison to a manual process.
In this context we would like to remind you that it is possible to do specific seat reservations in a
Duplex train since 01.04.2014.
Open either the mask „Reservation Complete: Seat Reservation“or the mask „Reservation
Express“.
In these masks you will find the description „Location of Compartment“. Via a Drop Down Menu
you can define if the seat should be reserved in the upper or lower level of the coach of a Duplex
train.

In particular seat reservations for TGV trains (Duplex) are much easier now, as you do not have to
try and error to find the right seat for your customer. It reduces the time to reserve the right seat!
HINT:
For TGV trains (Duplex) only „Ohne Bedeutung“, „Möglichst oben“ oder „Möglichst unten“ can be
requested. A request of „Unbedingt oben“ or „Unbedingt unten“ is technically not possible and
will result in an error message.
„Ohne Bedeutung“ stands for „Any“ which means you do not specify a specific seat,
the system will automatically allocate a seat reservation.

CORRECTIONS
0.- € Anschlußreservierungen,
There has been a challenge with cancelled 0.- € Anschlußreservierungen, which prevented to edit,
change or cancel any segment in the booking file. This has been solved now.
Deposit for group bookings
A deposit payment for a group booking with payment method credit card is possible again.
OTHERS
Group bookings
It is mandatory for group bookings to select the delivery method “Ticketversand“.
A later change of the delivery method for group bookings is not possible.
To remind you to select the right delivery method following information has been incorporated
into RailMaster:
Mask „Customer Profile“
In the mask „Customer Profile“ following hint appears:
„For group bookings select always Ticketversand.“

Mask „Ticket Issuance“
If in the mask „Ticket Issuance“ the number in the field „Number of Travellers“ is 6 or greater and
you click the button „Ticket+Time Table“ or “Book Ticket” the RailMaster checks the delivery
method of the booking file.

Is the delivery method of the booking file „Ticketversand“, the transaction takes place

Is the delivery method of the booking file „Bahn-Tix“ or „Direktverkauf“ or „Online-Ticket“,
a change of the delivery method to „Ticketversand“ is prepared.
A dialog will be displayed and you can decide to proceed or to cancel the transaction.
If you click “OK”, the delivery method of the booking file will be changed into “Ticketversand”.
If you click „Cancel“, the transaction will be cancelled.
Search Train stations – Streckenfahrschein
Since the last load of the RailMaster Version 7.00.p.26.00 you probably have sometimes
challenges finding the right train stations in the Bahnhofssuche bei Streckenfahrscheinen. This
situation could not be fully improved with this RailMaster Version. We plan to have it solved with
the next RailMaster Version - to be loaded on 01.10.2014
