Dear Dragon Sailors,
another successful year for Fritz Dragon sails is turning to it´s end and it’s now time for our annual mailing.
Experience and continuous development are giving us a competitive edge. In-house production enables to
realize gained knowledge and client feedback immediately.
What is new?
Since this year we manufacture our Dragon mains and genoas out of FIBERCON.
This fiber is developed only for sailcloth and creates the tightest woven material available anywhere in the
world. Contrary to other fibers, FIBERCON is 100% EU origin and is produced with strictest EU environmental
standards.
With FIBERCON our sails achieve top performance. Let us tell you more about our 2012 Dragon sails:
A-1 all purpose main: Cross cut with 4 windows: It covers all conditions in- and offshore from 0-35
knots/true: coast, open sea, flat and choppy waters.
C-2 all purpose genoa: Cross cut, 3 windows, in- and offshore racing, wind range: 0–18 knots/true.
C-2V all purpose genoa: Cross cut, 3 windows, offshore racing, wind range: 0–18 knots/true. This genoa has a
full entry and is therefore very powerful and easy to steer in chop.
C-2H heavy genoa: This cross cut genoa has exactly the same cut as the C-2, but is made with
heavier cloth. Its range is from 12 up to 35 knots/true. The C-2 and C-2H are interchangeable in a wind range
of 6 knots! It comes with 3 windows as well.
Additional light air sail, especially for lake racing.
C-2VL light genoa: Cross cut, 3 windows, inshore racing, wind range: 0–12 knots/true, This genoa has the
same full entry as the C-2V and is very powerful.
9XL+ spinnaker: The cross radial cut spinnaker covers all wind- and wave-conditions. It comes in dif- ferent
colour variations. The Dynakote cloth gives the spinnaker more shape stability. Very slippery surface cloth
coating makes it easier gliding in the tube.
