Biography:
Her birth name is Gabriele Susanne Kerner and her stage name is Nena.
Nena meaning is of Germany “kleines Mädchen”. Nena is born of the
24March 1960 in Hagen. She is a German Singer, Pop artist and actress. Her
Genres are Neue Deutsche Welle, new wave, Synthpop, Pop and Punk Rock.
Her best known song for the New German Wave is "99 Luftballons". In 1984,
she recorded this song in English as "99 Red Balloons". With the Hit 99
Luftballons obtained Nena and hisBand 1983 international recognition. With
25 million albums in the world, it is one of the most artists of German music
history.
She has a younger sister and younger brother. 1987 learn Nena the actors Benedict Freitag know.
He is the father their oldest son Christopher Daniel (1988–1989) and the twins Sakias and
Larissa (* 1990). Nena and Benedict Freitag, separated themselves 1992, and have
been of end 2009 grandparent. With Philipp Palm, a twelve yearsyounger
drummer and Music producers from Esslingen am Neckar, has she two more
children. The Family lives in Hamburg-Rahlstedt.
