Student Travel Grants
for the 11th Scientific Symposium of the
Austrian Pharmacological Society
24– 26 November 2005
The Austrian Pharmacological Society (APHAR) offers a total of 16 travel grants for
students who are working in the field of pharmacology and who want to attend the
11th Scientific Symposium of the Society, Vienna, 24–26 November 2005. A
maximum of 8 grants will be awarded to students affiliated to pharmacological or
related departments in Austria (except Vienna), and further 8 grants will be reserved
for students from institutions in Hungary. The grant sum is Euro 200 for students from
Hungary and western Austria, otherwise Euro 150.
Students who want to apply for these grants should fill in the attached application
form. The form must also be signed by the project director or head of department.
Students who are in a paid position cannot apply.
All applications should be sent by fax to the APHAR Secretary (see fax number
below). Grants will be awarded according to the order of their arrival.
All applicants will be informed prior to the symposium whether their application has
been successful. Scholarship holders will receive the grant sum upon returning the
attendance certificate to the APHAR office. The certificate will be issued at the
registration desk.
