Fai della Paganella
Dalla piazza della chiesa giriamo a destra e
scendiamo verso la parte bassa del paese;
imbocchiamo poi a destra la prima stradina
che si inoltra verso le campagne del paese. Al
primo bivio giriamo ancora a destra e
percorriamo tutta la stradina che costeggia le
fattorie e giunge alla località Dossi, la collina
che sovrasta località Valiard.
L’ itinerario prosegue e giunge alla località
Vanesola dove è dislocata l’isola ecologica.
Proseguendo a sinistra lungo la vallata si arriva
alla conca del Valiard dove al disgelo si crea
un lago di ridotte dimensioni, ma ricco di fiori e

From the church square go down to the bottom
of the town and take the first country lane on
the right.
At the first junction turn right and go along the
narrow road skirting the farms, to reach the Dossi,
the hill overlooking Valiard. The road continues
and arrives at Vanesola. Keep to the left along
the valley to the Valiadt where in spring melting
snow creates a small lake surrounded by
beautifully coloured flowers.
colori. Proseguendo lungo il sentiero in leggera
salita arriviamo al Pian delle Ass ai piedi del Doss
Castel. All’interno del sito - tutelato dal Servizio
Beni Archeologici della Provincia Autonoma di
Trento – si snoda un percorso didattico ricco di
reperti e dotato di una bacheca dove sono
esposti numerosi materiali rinvenuti nelle
campagne di scavi. Riprendiamo il cammino e
dal Pian delle Ass, lungo il sentiero e
costeggiando a sinistra la radura successiva,
attraversiamo un ruscello e risaliamo il versante
opposto per immetterci sul percorso in parte
asfaltato che riporta in paese.
Take the path up the hill that reaches Pian delle
Ass at the foot of Doss Castel.
The area is protected by the Trento Provincial
archaeological service and has an educational
trail with a wealth of finds and a board showing
some of the numerous items found during
excavations.
Go along the path from Pian delle Ass, keep left
to skirt the next clearing, cross a stream and on
the other side get onto the partially tarmac road
that leads to the town.

RÄTISCHE AUSGRABUNGSSTÄTTE
Vom Kirchplatz gehen wir hinunter zum unteren
Teil des Dorfes und nehmen den ersten Weg
rechts, der in die Felder hinaus führt; wir schlagen
die nächste Abzweigung rechts ein und folgen
dem Feldweg entlang der Bauernhöfe bis zu
den „Dossi“, dem Hügel oberhalb Valiard; und
weiter bis Vanesola mit dem Mülltrennungsplatz.
Wir halten uns an der linken Talseite und erreichen
die Mulde von Valiard, wo sich im Frühjahr ein
kleiner Teich mit vielen Blumen bildet.
Wir nehmen nun den Pfad hinauf zum Hügel
oberhalb des Tales und erreichen Pian delle Ass
am Fuße des Doss Castel.
Durch die Ausgrabungsstätte, die vom
archäologischen Dienst der Provinz Trient
eingerichtet ist, führt ein interessanter Lehrpfad.
Ein Schaukasten zeigt Teile der verschiedenen
Funde aus der Umgebung und informiert über
die Gestaltung des rätischen Dorfes.
Von Pian delle Ass geht es weiter entlang des
Pfades und an der linken Seite der nächsten
Lichtung überqueren wir einen kleinen Bach.
Auf der gegenüber liegenden Seite geht der
Weg aufwärts zur Route, die – teilweise asphaltiert
– ins Dorf zurückführt.
