Report about the sixth and last meeting of the Comenius project

The school of mechatronic and electrical engineering in Amberg was part of the biennial
Comenius project “Life-Giving-Water“. The students and teachers of the partner schools visit the
others six times during the two years of Comenius school partnership. The visits serve for the
change of the project documentations, which were made by the students to plan new projects for
the theme “Live-Giving-Water“.
Also the students and teachers can view the region around the partner schools.
The project countries are:
Buzau – Rumänien
Vila Nova de Gaia Portugal
Pomezia – Italien
Levski - Bulgarien
Myszków - Polen
Amberg – Deutschland
On the 3rd of May 2015, there was finally so far. This time it went to our partner school in Buzau
in Romania. After our one and a half hour flight we were already expected by the Romanian
teachers. Then there was a communal meal for the teachers and the students visited the town
Buzau and then they went to dinner.
On Monday, all students and teachers went on
to school. At the beginning there was a small
tour of the school building, after which the
Director addressed a few words to all.
Immediately after the students of all nations
held their presentations on the experience of
the last trips, since it was the last Comenius
exchange. After the presentations, there was a
small lunch in the schoolhouse. Where after
we issued us by bus to a theater hall in Buzau,
where a play of all nations were kept and then
do a few rehearsed pieces of any nation.

The next day we visited an old Romanian winery when you
then have the option to purchase had wine from the region.
Then we visited "Ciolanu Monastery" a Catholic Monastery of
the located nearby the stone sculptures "Magura" were. After a
hearty meal, it went to the "Muddy" these were volcanoes is
flushed through the water by gas to the surface.
The next morning had dawned and the participants were again
ready for new insights. The next day it was namely to a
recycling company, they produced from old plastic waste new
recyclable material. A huge brewery was still visited in itself tastings are not eye remained in
port. In the evening, was already of the celebration of the last joint meeting, since it already out
of Buzau went the next day. By bus we went the next day then continued in a very nice
prestigious castle of King Charles was visited with a guide. Following came that what already
some have rejoiced, the visit to the Castle Dracula, which was a very old castle with a lot of
history. After visiting the castle we took the bus to Brasov where we could enjoy a last dinner
together. Now the last day of the project had begun already, when we went by bus to Bucharest.
There we visited a museum with
ancient buildings and technologies.
Following That´s the Last meal
before the flight and all the students
and teachers said goodbye outside
the airport.
Each of the students showed great
interest in this project, because it's
just something great to gather in
other nations new experiences and
also to pass. All are of the opinion
that every city that was visited is
worth a visit again.
