Wer wird aramäischer Meister 2009? Wieder Tur Abdin Berlin? Das werden wir am 30. und 31. Mai
erfahren, auf dem Föderationsturnier 2009 in Paderborn. Auch die Kamera von Suryoyo SAT wird
wieder dabei sein und die Glanzleistungen der Spieler aufnehmen. Den genauen Spielplan könnt ihr auf

gewinnen.
"Lasst euch am Samstag die Deutschland-Premiere von Rami Adam bloß nicht
entgehen. Außerdem wird Daniel Josef mit seiner Band auftreten und für tolle
Stimmung sorgen.
Am Sonntag geht es weiter. Das Bundesgremium Jugend der FASD lädt zum
alljährlichen Jugendhago ins Bürgerhaus Schloß Neuhaus ein. Die Sänger Josef
Özer und Yusuf Saliba sind Ansage genug.
Das wird wohl ein Wochenende der Superlative!
Der Aramäische Medienverein Suryoyo SAT Deutschland (AMD)
in Pohlheim (Gießen)
Auf Wunsch der Ortsgruppe Suryoyo SAT Gießen und der
aramäischen Gemeinden in der Umgebung kam der Vorstand
des Aramäischen Medienvereins Suryoyo SAT Deutschland
(AMD) nach Gießen, um dort Suryoyo SAT zu präsentieren.
Am 17. Mai um 17 Uhr trafen sich der Vorstand des AMD, die
Ortsgruppe von Suryoyo SAT in Gießen und eine große
Zuhörerschaft im Saal der Mor Had B’Shabo Kirche. Adnan
Mermertas, 1. Vorsitzender des AMD, berichtete über die
bereits erreichten Ziele von Suryoyo SAT Deutschland und
natürlich über diejenigen Ziele, die noch zu erreichen sind.
Denn die Zukunftsperspektiven von Suryoyo SAT in Deutschland sind vielfältig. Ein aktuelles Projekt ist die Eröffnung eines
Studios in Deutschland.
Des Weiteren gab Adnan Mermertas neueste Informationen
über die Wirtschafts- und Arbeitslage von Suryoyo SAT in
Schweden sowie speziell in Deutschland bekannt.
Die PowerPoint-Präsentation dauerte ca. zwei Stunden. Am
Ende der Präsentation hatten die Zuhörer die Gelegenheit,
Fragen an den Vorstand des AMD sowie an die Ortsgruppe
Suryoyo SAT Gießen zu stellen. Wer Interesse hat, in das

Seminar der Syriac Universal Alliance (SUA)
in Hamburg
Im Zusammenarbeit mit dem Christlich Aramäischen Gemeindezentrum e. V.
Hamburg (CAG) veranstaltet die SUA ein Seminar zur historischen und
gegenwärtigen Identität der Aramäer: Nation, Volk oder ethnische
Gruppe?
Die Vortragenden werden sein: Dr. Assad Sauma-Assad aus Schweden, Dr.
Medardus Brehl aus Deutschland, Johny Messo aus Holland (SUA Präsident),
Dipl.-Theol. Sabo Hanna (SUA Deutschland) und Raid (Sharbil) Gharib aus
Deutschland.
Das Seminar findet statt am Samstag, 13. Juni 2009,
um 16:00 Uhr. Veranstaltungsort ist der Saal des
Christlich Aramäischen Gemeindezentrums, Steinbecker Hauptstr.
78, 22117 Hamburg.
Es wird eine Kostenpauschale in Höhe von fünf Euro (inkl. Speisen)

Partnerprogramme der FASD
Im letzten Jahr wurden mit Eplus und Europcar Kooperationen geschlossen. Dieses Jahr läuft ein
Partnerprogramm mit D.A.S.-Versicherungen. Auf dem Föderationsturnier wird ein D.A.S.-Infostand über
die Partnervereinbarung informieren. Nur die Mitgliedsvereine der FASD und deren Mitglieder sind
berechtigt, die vergünstigten Konditionen in Anspruch zu nehmen.

Seminar on the Aramean identity in Hamburg
organized by the Syriac Universal Alliance (SUA)
In collaboration with the Christian Aramean Community Center in Hamburg (CAG), the SUA organizes a
seminar on the historical and the present-day identity of the Arameans (Syriacs): nation, people
or an ethnic group?
The lecturers will be: Dr Assad Sauma-Assad from Sweden, Dr Medardus Brehl from Germany, Johny
Messo from Holland (SUA President), graduate theologian Sabo Hanna (SUA Germany) and Raid
(Sharbil) Gharib from Germany.
The seminar takes place in the hall of the Christian Aramean Community Center in Hamburg,
Steinbecker Hauptstr. 78, 22117 Hamburg. The beginning is at 4 p.m., on 13 June 2009.

Affiliate programs of the FASD
Last year there were co-operations between Eplus, Europcar and the FASD. This year a new cooperation is agreed with the D.A.S. Insurances. There will be an information desk about this affiliate
program at the football tournament of the Federation in Paderborn, on 30 and 31 May. Only the
members of the FASD are allowed to make use of the subsidized terms of each insurance.

Board elections of the
Aramean Media Assn. Suryoyo SAT Germany (AMD)
We informed you about the electoral regulations in the last Suryoyo SAT Newsletter. Every member of
the AMD is eligible, the delegates meeting is the highest body of the AMD which can elect the new AMD
Board. For more information about the elections, please write to Sabri Paulus, 2nd treasurer of the AMD

The Aramean Media Assn. Suryoyo SAT came to Gießen
The Board of the Aramean Media Assn. Suryoyo SAT decided to come to Gießen to present Suryoyo
SAT following an invitation by the local Suryoyo SAT group and the Aramean communities in the
surroundings of Gießen.
In the meeting at the Mor Had B´Shabo Church on 17 May, the AMD board with its chairman Adnan
Mermertas and the local Suryoyo SAT group of Gießen reported about the achieved goals and the future
projects of Suryoyo SAT Germany. The future prospects of Suryoyo SAT Germany are multifaceted.
Present target is the opening of a Suryoyo SAT studio in Germany.
New information about the economy and labor situation in Sweden as well as in Germany was
presented.
After the two-hour-presentation the audience had the opportunity to question the Board of AMD and the

Federation’s Cup 2009 in Paderborn
Who will be the Aramean champion 2009? Again Tur Abdin Berlin? We are going to see that on 30 and
31 May, on the Federation Tournament 2009 in Paderborn. The camera of Suryoyo SAT will be there
this year, too, and will shoot the masterly achievement of the players. You can read the whole playing
schedule on the website of Suryoye Paderborn at www.suryoyepd.de. May the best team win.
There will be a premiere of Rami Adam who will be the first time in Germany. Also, you can see the
performance of Daniel Josef and his band.
The Youth Committee of the FASD arranges its annual Youth Hago on 31 May in Bürgerhaus Schloß
Neuhaus. So, this weekend will be just superlative.
