R 1200 GS + Adventure Tourenscheibe / Touring Screen

Entfernen Sie die Original-Scheibe durch lösen der
Befestigungen. R 1200 GS: 2 seitlich und 2 vorne,
(Bild A1), bei Adventure zusätzlich die oberen Schrauben am
Haltebügel (A2).
2.Setzen Sie die beigelegten Gummitüllen, Stufenscheiben und
Distanzen in die vorderen Löcher der Scheibe ein (Bild B1 + B2).
3.Seitlich wird die Scheibe mit den Kunststoffeinsätzen montiert
(Bild C).
Hinweis: Bei der Adventure das originale Befestigigungsmaterial
benutzen.
4.Montieren Sie die Spoilerscheibe vorne anhand der Zeichnungen
(B1, B2 + C) mit dem Verstärkungsbügel ans Fahrzeug.
Hinweis: Bei Adventure den originalen Bügel benutzen.
5.Wenn nur die kleine Scheibe benutzt wird: Hohe Scheibe entfernen, eine Stufenscheibe „[3]“ (Bild B1+B2) jeweils in beide
unteren Gummitüllen der kurzen Scheibe von aussen einsetzen,
und Scheibe mit 4 Schrauben M5x25 + U-Scheiben befestigen.

Prüfen Sie nach dem Anbau der Scheibe auf den korrekten
Sitz und die ordnungsgemäße Befestigung.
After the screen is adjusted to your preference, make sure
all fasteners are tightened.
Cleaning Tips
•Soften dirt and insects with water (place a wet cloth or paper
towel on the dirty screen over night)
•Use cockpit spray to "seal off" the screen surface. This will make
cleaning afterwards easier and reduces scratches/damage.
•NEVER apply plastic polishing agents of any kind, thinners or any
other aggressive, abrasive or corrosive materials to the screen.
For cleaning use only mild detergents such as dish washing
liquid and a lot of water.
Pflegehinweise:
• Lösen Sie Verschmutzungen und Insektenreste mit Wasser an
(einfach ein nasses Tuch oder Zewa über Nacht auf die Scheibe
legen).
• Durch Versiegelung der Scheibe (mit Cokpitspray oder AmorAll) lässt sich die Scheibe besser reinigen und leichte Kratzer
verschwinden wieder.
• Versuchen Sie niemals die Scheibe mit Kunststoffpolitur, scharfen
und scheuernden Mitteln oder Verdünner zu reinigen. Verwenden
Sie zur Reinigung ausschließlich milde Reinigungsmittel (Spülmittel) und viel Wasser.
Remove the original screen by removing the screen
attachemnt bolts.
R 1200 GS: 2 side and 2 front attachments (Image A1). Adventure: Same as GS + 2 additional bolts on the support strut
(Image A2).
2.Fit the supplied rubber grommets, washers and spacers in the
front mounting holes of your new screen (Image B1 + B2).
3.Attach the screen to the bike on both sides using the supplied
bolt + plastic parts (Image C).
Note: For Adventure use the existing original parts.
4.Attach the screen at the front as shown (Images B1, B2
+ C) together with the supplied support strut to the bike.
Note: For Adventure use the existing support.
5.If only the short screen is used: Remove the tall screen by removing the 4 screen bolts. Insert stepped spacers “[3]” (Image
B2) into the 2 lower grommets of the short screen and secure
the screen with four M5x25 mm bolts and washers.
Schraubenlineal: Das Lineal soll Ihnen bei der Identifizierung der Schrauben helfen. Bitte bedenken Sie, daß
Schrauben an Ihrer Einschraubtiefe gemessen werden,
also ohne Kopf. M5x25 = Durchmesser 5 mm, Länge
25 mm
Metric Ruler for determining bolt sizes: When measuring
bolts, only measure the length of thread and shaft without
the bolt head. For example, M5x12 means diameter of
bolt is 5 mm, length 12 mm.
Il righello per identificare la lunghezza giusta di ogni
bullone: Quando misurate i bulloni misurate soltanto la
filettatura senza la testa. Per esempio, M5x12 significa
che il diametro della vite é 5 mm, la lunghezza é 12 mm.
