1. Member of Amnesty International since 1982 : currently responsible for a regional
action network covering Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay (PABURAN).
2. Classical music : member of the Choeurs de l’Orchestre Colonne (Paris, France) for
several years. Classical music host on the Radio Universitaire de Namur. Currently
member of the Académie de chant grégorien of Brussels and member of the SaintIrénée choir of Brussels.
3. Literature : jury member of the Livre Inter (France Inter) in the Spring of 1997.
4. Bookinding (reliure) : holder of the degree of « artisan-relieur » delivered by the
Institut Diderot (Arts et Métiers – Promotion Sociale de la Ville de Bruxelles).
Bookbinding techniques concerned include (in French) : Bradel, Registre, Passécarton, Reliure bibliophilique. The program also included gold-lettering and
decoration (dorure).
