EDITORIAL
For the fifth year in a row the Series Mania festival offers
accredited professionals an access to its Video Library. It offers
viewing, on individual screens, the series presented in the
festival program (except those from the US) as well as an extra
selection of some of the latest series from around the world,
particularly those from Europe including The Golden Life
(Hungary), The Boss Hunt (Italy), Young & Promising (Norway),
Plastic Sea (Spain) and many others... Through this initiative,
we are hoping to broaden the perspective of European
television professionals by offering an overview of current
television series, notably those produced in Europe. Their
ingenuity, originality and talent are remarkably singular and
we are hoping to enhance their pan-European broadcasting.
Pour la cinquième année consécutive, le festival Séries Mania
offre aux professionnels accrédités un accès à sa Video Library
proposant une sélection unique au monde d’une soixantaine de
titres. Elle leur permet de visionner sur un écran individuel à la
carte, en Salle des collections du Forum des images, les séries
sélectionnées dans le programme public du festival (hormis
les séries américaines) ainsi qu’un choix élargi de titres récents
du monde entier dont un nombre significatif en provenance
d’Europe. Dont Aranyelet (Hongrie), Sotto Copertura (Italie),
Unge Lovende (Norvège), Mar de plástico (Espagne)
et bien d’autres séries encore... À travers cette initiative,
nous souhaitons faciliter l’accès aux séries étrangères et en
particulier européennes, et améliorer leur connaissance par les
professionnels du secteur. Leur inventivité, leur originalité
et leur maîtrise sont frappantes et nous espérons contribuer
à améliorer leur diffusion pan-européenne.

A journalist is investigating into a financial fraud involving the country’s
political elite. During his investigation, he discovers that his own brother
is involved in the scandal. A remake of the Norwegian thriller Mammon,
which screened at Series Mania in 2014.

partie de l’élite politique du pays. Au cours de ses recherches, il découvre

Tony is a marriage guidance counselor who spends his days helping
others, but can’t seem to keep the peace in his own home. His marriage
is on the rocks, his daughter is discovering love, his step-daughter is
prepared to do anything to become famous, and his mother, a former
well-known actress, is splashing her private life across the media.
Rachel is a criminologist who works in a day-release center. She and her
coworkers work with prisoners on probation, but a confrontation with one
of them makes her think again about her working routine.
When the mayor of Norskov tries to attract new investors to boost the local
economy, his plan is hampered by recurrent drug problems. He decides
