Voir toutes nos offres Description du poste Titre du poste: Egypt Field Office (EGFO) - Secretary/Receptionist Grade: GS5 Poste N°: NA Référence: ADB/14/008 Date de publication: 23/04/2014 Date de clôture: 16/05/2014 Objectifs The African Development Bank Egypt Field Office (EGFO) based in Cairo, Egypt has been established to strengthen cooperation between the Bank and the Republic of Egypt. The Bank invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position of Secretary. Posting will be in the Egypt Field Office of the African Development Bank Group based in Cairo. This is a local position which does not attract international terms and conditions.. Only Applicants Who Already Have the Right to Live and Work in Egypt Will Be Considered for This Position. AfDB Will Not Support Applications for Work Permits and Relocation. Fonctions et responsabilités Under the general supervision of the Resident Representative, the Secretary will: Provide general secretarial assistance to the Office and visiting Bank missions, Provide administrative support to staff and assist in preparation and logistical planning of Team and Office events. Draft, edit, proofread, format and finalize documents and presentations to ensure quality of documents before signature or approval. Support office management and prepare minutes of meetings. Handle booking of hotel and air flight tickets reservation Manage the staff attendance system and issue reports Assist in organising Bank’s events Maintain office records and reference files on Bank Group operations. Assist in some Administrative financial tasks Perform any other office management duties as required. Critères de sélection Notamment compétences, connaissances et expérience souhaitables Page 1/2 At least a Bachelor’s degree or its university equivalent in Business Administration or other related field; or Matric Certificate or Advanced Level Certificate plus four (4) years further study in professional secretarial and office management qualifications. A minimum of four (4) years’ relevant experience. A good track record in secretarial and office management. Ability to organize data and information retrieval systems. Good filling and organizational skills, with good interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and write effectively in English and/or French, with a good knowledge of the other language. Competence in the use of Bank standard software (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint). Knowledge of SAP is desirable.
