2012-2013 SEASON TRYOUTS
Tryouts will be held at SLC Cheer Gym on June 21st.
Tryouts are MANDATORY. If you cannot be there for any reason, a private tryout can be
scheduled. Please notify us in advance by sending an e-mail to
[email protected].
*If needed, a second tryout will be scheduled. There will be no additional fee charged.
COST: $10 (can be sent in with your registration forms or paid the night of tryouts)
Tryout results will be available within 48 hours of tryouts.
DIVISIONS & LEVELS OFFERED
Revolution Athletics will abide by the technical rules of the USASF (US All-Star Spirit
Federation, the international governing body of cheerleading) as well as the FCQ
(Fédération de Cheerleading du Québec)
The division offered for the 2012-2013 season will be International Open (all-girl or coed) Level 5. However the table below will walk you through the progressions, levelthrough level according to the USASF & FCQ technical rules.

REGISTRATION FEES
*Fees can be paid by cheque or credit card (Visa/Mastercard)
Breakdown of fees:
Basic fees - $405.00: Insurance, FCQ registration fees, coach salary, practice uniforms,
music fees, administration fees, stationary, souvenir plaque.
Gym fees - $200.00: Gym rental.
Competition Fees - $200.00: Please see “competition schedule” for the list of
competitions. Please note that the price of travel (buses) and accommodations (hotels)
are not included, nor the price of PCA University and Open Nationals and Kick’s
Celebration which remain unconfirmed competitions.
MANDATORY Apparel Fees - $300.00: See “apparel and accessories” below for
mandatory apparel items that need to be purchased for the 2012-2013 season. Other
items will be available for sale throughout the year for additional purchase at your
choice.

competitions (as well as travel costs and accommodations)
 The possibility of a choreography camp with the renowned Spring Tumbling
instructors Lisa Aucoin & Kenny Feeley. (approx. $180/athlete)
COMPETITION SCHEDULE
APPAREL & ACCESSORIES
ATTENDANCE
Each practice is MANDATORY. Each athlete is allowed to miss up-to 4 practices. Each
absence must have a valid reason, and must be approved by the coach. Please not that
an absence form must be filled out before the athlete requests his or her absence. After
4 practices missed, a consequence will be applied that could result in expulsion from
their team.
FUNDRAISING & SPONSORSHIPS
Various fundraising activities will be offered throughout the season. These fundraisers
are set-up to help lower the costs of travel and accommodations for away competitions.
Athletes will be strongly encouraged to participate. The amounts of money raised will
be divided within the individuals that are present at that fundraiser.
We will also actively be looking for sponsors during the season. A letter will be put
together and given to each athlete.

Approval by or on behalf of the Registrant (applicable only if the registrant is of minor age):
I, the parent or legal guardian hereby gives the registered participant my approval of
participation in Revolution Athletics Cheerleading. Applicable for all registered
participants: I will assume all risks and hazards to the participant including transportation
to and from practices. I do hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify and agree to not hold
Revolution Athletics Cheerleading, all its volunteers responsible for claims arising out of an
injury to the registered participant, whether the result of negligence or for any other cause.
I authorize that the association personnel perform all first aid necessary in case of accident
and I will be informed of the situation and procedures taken as soon as possible.
