PROCEDURE FOR 2007 LICENCES
Dear Madam, Dear Sir,
As you know, FILA started a new method of licence in January 2006. To issue a licence, we need
the name, first name, date of birth, photo and the address of the wrestler for the World AntiDoping Agency.
Each wrestler who takes part in a Senior competition must have a licence. Each wrestler Cadet,
Junior or Senior who takes part in a Continental or World Championship must also have a licence,
which guarantees medical expenses in case of an accident. In 2007, like in 2006, all wrestlers will
have to have their FILA licence from January 1st, 2007. If they don’t, they will not be able to
participate in the competitions.
We sent 2 documents to National Federations :

The “Renewal of Licence for 2007” list which contains the name of wrestlers who have
received their 2006 licence. National Federations will have to :
- erase the names of wrestlers who will not be active in 2007,
- complete the information for the World Anti-Doping Agency for wrestlers who wish to
renew their licence in 2007.
This list will have to be returned to FILA with the copy of the bank transfer corresponding
to the amount of licences to be renewed and the “Financial Report for renewal of 2007
Licences”. Wrestlers who have not received their licence because they did not send their
photo or date of birth to FILA in 2006 are not on that list. If they wish a licence in 2007,
they will have to fill in the «2007 New Licence request form» herewith below.

The «2007 New Licence Request Form» for new wrestlers who want a licence in 2007,
and for wrestlers who have not sent their photo or date of birth to FILA in 2006 and who
want a licence in 2007. This form must be duly filled in and returned to FILA with a photo
- with the name of the wrestler written at the back - and the copy of the bank transfer. If the
photo is not attached to the form or if some information is missing, FILA will immediately
send it back to the Federation.
The licence costs CHF 100.- or US$ 100.- or € 80.- per wrestler and FILA bank details are
mentioned on both forms.
As soon as FILA receives the requested documents and payment, licences will be sent to National
Federations.
National Federations can also buy their licences online from our website
http://licencing.fila-wrestling.com. The procedure is explained under “HELP” which appears on
the home page. In that case, 3% of bank expenses are added to the normal price of the licence,
which gives a total of CHF 103.- or US$ 103.- /or € 82.40 per licence.
During 2007 Championships and Tournaments, the wrestler who will not have his/her card
will have to pay for his/her licence plus a tax of 50% = CHF 150.Should you request any information or further explanation, do not hesitate to contact us.
