Adeline's passion
Adeline was sitting viewing the beautiful sight of paris form her bedroom window.A soft fragence of
rosissimo flowers drifted into her arch window. Her name meant she was noble and kind which she
was.She had a twin sister called Bibiane was meantshe was lively.No doubt about that.Every morning
the twins would spring up and Bibiane would always be the first one up and outside.The Belchers were
full with pride and passion except their bouncing baby boy Rene which meant reborn.He must have
been reborn from a aggressive solider from England.They had all the aggressive ones.
The first day of french school for the twins.Fluer the mother was searching everyway for her flower
charms to give good luck to her darling daughters.Fluer was given them when she 13 like the girls to
start school.You had to be thirteen to start in Adeline's village.Off they set to the old chapel school where
they were greeted by an old friend,Mrs Clowes and her twins Colette and Tristan.
"Bon clowes de madame de Matin"("Good morning mrs Clowes.")Adeline announced.tristan smiled at
her and she smiled back.Was it true love?
"Bonjour Adeline.Nice pour vous ait vu."(Hello Adeline.Nice to see you.")
Adeline blushed and the kids walked off to school.
"Regarder que vous faites des gosses ! "("Watch what you are doing!") Fluer Belcher was known for her
worrying.Adeline turned back and winked with a cheeky grin.
"Ma maman toujours est inquiétée quelque chose mauvais avec moi arrive et Colette."("My mum is
always worried something bad will happen to me and Colette")Adeline laughed.Maybe she had found
her true love.But what about Colette?She looked the jealous type.Adeline and Tristan went walking off
laughing and joking.
"J'espère que cet enseignant n'est pas strict ! "("I hope this teacher is not strict!")
"Ils pourraient nous donner un grand coup à avec une canne!"("They might whack us with a
stick!")Adeline hoped Tristan was joking.Bibiane and Colette were getting along just fine.They were
discussing their love-stricken siblings!
"Pourquoi les filles quand ils voient-ils qu'un gars qu'ils aiment les impressionne en diant salut à
eux?"("Why do girls whenever they see a guy they like impress them by saying hi?")Bibiane tried not to
sound jealous of her sister.
"Oubliez-vous que nous sommes des filles?"("Are you forgetting we are girls?")They laughed
endlessly.Meanwhile Tristan and Adeline were approaching the chapel school.Before entering,Trstan
gave Adeline a little kiss.She blushed and followed him inside.

"Bon classe.je de Matin est Bigler de Madame votre nouvel enseignant."(Good morning class.I am Mrs
Bigler your new teacher.")Tristan grabbed a seat next to Adeline.The two were closely followed by
Colette and Bibiane who sat right behind them.Colette bent over the desk and whispered in Adeline's ear
three words she would not forget:"Je vous regarde."("I'm watching you.")Tristan shooed her away and
started to play with Adeline's long golden brown wavy hair.He kissed her again.
"J'aime votre Adeline de cheveux!"("I love your hair Adeline!")Mrs Bigler tapped her desk with a long
pointy wooden cane.Tristan stared at Adeline and they gulped.
"Aujourd'hui nous allons apprendre les quatre temps quelqu'un ajournent ne sait pas le trois ?"("Today
we are going to learn the four times table.Anyone not know the three?")Mrs Bigler looked for a show of
hands.Everyone knew it.
"L'un chronomètre quatre sont quatre deux fois quatre sont. .....Tristan Clowes ?"
tristan started to sweat then blurted out,"Huit Bilger de Madame ! "("Eight Mrs Bigler!")She seemed
impressed and so did Adeline.She hardly knew her four times table well."J'espère que Bigler de
Madame ne me demande pas troQuel est mauvais Addy ? is fois quatre Tristan."("I hope Mrs Bigler
does not ask me three times four Tristan.")Tristan thought she was joking.He laughed but she seemed
upset.He turned to her.
"C'était quelque chose j'ai dit Addy?"("Was it something I said Addy?")Adeline turned her head
expeditiously to Tristan.He backed off as though he did something to upset her.He asked her what was
wrong without saying'Addy' at the end.
"Je n'ai jamais été appelé Addy avant!"("I've never been called Addy before!")
"Oh !"("Oh!")Bibiane bent over her desk and whispered," Quel est mauvais Addy ?"("What's wrong
Addy?")The rest of the day went normally and then Tristan decided to confront his sister and
Bibiane."Ecouter des filles arrêtent dérangeant Adeline.Elle a pleuré tout par la coupure ! "("Listen girls
stop upsetting Adeline.She cried all through break!")Bibiane and Colette burst into laughter.
"Oh Tristan désolé votre majesté !"("Oh soory Tristan your majesty!")
Tristan had had enough for his sister,he would make her pay but how?He would injure her boyfriend
Pierre Petit.the next day he was in hospital.Tristan's plan had worked.
