HSBC Premier Chinese New Year Lucky Draw – Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the HSBC Bank Canada “HSBC Premier Chinese New Year Lucky
Draw)” running from 12:00pm PST 24 January 2014 to 11:59pm 28 February 2014, inclusive (the “Lucky
Draw”). Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully as they explain how you can enter to win one of
forty-six (46) $2,000 Air Canada Gift Cards.*
DEFINITIONS
1.
When used in these Terms and Conditions, the phrases set-out below mean the following:
(a)
“Prize” means a $2000 Air Canada Gift Card. There are a total of 46 prizes (one per
Participating Branch) available to be won. Limit of one prize per Lucky Draw winner.
(b)
“HSBC” means HSBC Bank Canada.
(c)
“HSBC Subsidiary” means HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc.’s division HSBC InvestDirect ,

HSBC Investment Funds (Canada) Inc. and/or HSBC Global Asset Management (Canada)

Limited.
(d)
“New Money” means a Client investment of CA$10,000.00 or more in a Qualifying Account (as
defined below) during the Promotional Period (as defined below), said funds not having ever
been previously invested or otherwise on deposit with HSBC or any of its subsidiaries.
Qualifying investments include non-registered GICs and Term Deposits. Deposits into chequing
and savings accounts are not eligible for the Lucky Draw.
(e)
“Client” means a person who is a new or existing HSBC Premier client of a Participating Branch
as at the Lucky Draw Closing Date (as defined below). This includes HSBC Retail and HSBC
Advance clients who upgrade to HSBC Premier during the Promotional Period.
(f)
“Participating Branches” means the HSBC branches listed at the end of these terms and
conditions.
(g)
“Promotional Period” means from 12:00pm PST on 24 January 2014 to 11:59pm PST on 28
February 2014 (the “Lucky Draw Closing Date”), inclusive.
(h)
“Qualifying Account” means a new or existing non-registered account with HSBC and/or an
HSBC Subsidiary opened or held by a Client during the Promotional Period and which is still
held by the Client as at the Lucky Draw Closing Date.

QUALIFICATIONS

The Lucky Draw is only open to residents of British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario, Canada
who have reached the age of 19 years or older. Employees, representatives and agents of
HSBC and any of its subsidiaries and affiliates and advertising agencies (including members of
their immediate families) and those with whom they are domiciled are not eligible for the Lucky
Draw.
3.
New and existing HSBC Premier Clients shall be given one (1) ballot for every CA$10,000 of
New Money that they invest in a single Qualifying Account during the Promotional Period.
Ballots will be issued on the Lucky Draw Closing Date and automatically entered into the
Lucky Draw. The New Money must remain invested in a Qualifying Account as at the Lucky
Draw Closing Date to be eligible for the Lucky Draw.
4.
No purchase necessary. Individuals meeting the requirements set-out in section 2 (above)
may enter the Lucky Draw by hand delivering an original and handwritten essay to an HSBC
representative at one of the Participating Branches in British Columbia, Alberta or Ontario.
There is a limit of five (5) essays per no purchase entrant during the Promotional Period
(regardless of the number of Participating Branches). Mechanical reproductions of essays will
not be accepted. No purchase entrants will be provided with one (1) ballot for each
handwritten essay received by a Participating Branch up to a maximum of five (5) entries per
no purchase entrant. Essays must be handwritten on a single 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper,
contain a minimum of 200 words and answer the question “what are the key benefits of HSBC
Premier?” Please include your name, mailing address, email address and phone number.
5.
The Lucky Draw is available only at the Participating Branches during the Promotional Period.
6.
The Lucky Draw will be made by a physical draw of entered ballots at each Participating
Branch at 12:00pm PST on March 31, 2014.
OTHER CONDITIONS
7.
The Lucky Draw may be amended, extended or cancelled at the sole discretion of HSBC at
any time without notice.
8.
HSBC reserves the right to refuse or terminate any individual’s participation in the Lucky Draw
if HSBC or its subsidiaries suspects or discovers that the individual is abusing the proper and
intended operation of the Lucky Draw, is violating the present rules or is committing fraud.
Furthermore, HSBC reserves the right to refuse or terminate any individual’s participation in
the Lucky Draw if the New Money investment is determined, in the discretion of HSBC, to be
made illegally or for an illegal purpose.
9.
Certain of the services offered by HSBC and its subsidiaries may be restricted or unavailable
to you if you move to, or are located in, certain jurisdictions within or outside of Canada, due to
the local laws of that jurisdiction. Other HSBC Holdings plc subsidiaries may, however, be
able to provide similar services and products to you in that jurisdiction.
10.
The opening of a Qualifying Account shall remain subject to HSBC’s and its subsidiaries’
account opening requirements applicable to the type of account being opened.

11.
Selected entrants will be notified by a Relationship Manager by telephone if they have won a
Prize beginning at 12:00pm PST on 31 March 2014.
12.
The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible ballots submitted at each
of the Participating Branches during the Promotional Period.
13.
Selected entrants must correctly answer a mathematical skill testing question, without
mechanical or other aid, in the time provided by HSBC prior to being declared a prize winner.
14.
Selected entrants will have to take delivery of the Grand Prize at the relevant Participating
Branch within five days of HSBC sending a notice that the prize is ready to be picked-up.
15.
If any selected entrant is not reached after three phone calls or has not returned a phone
message within 48 hours, or if any selected entrant does not respond correctly to the
mathematical skill testing question in the time given, or fails to sign and return HSBC’s
declaration and release form within the specified time, or if a selected entrant fails to take
delivery of a Prize within five days of HSBC sending a notice that the prize is ready to be
picked-up, the selected entrant will be disqualified and an alternate entrant will be drawn from
all the remaining eligible ballot entries at the relevant Participating Branch.
16.
The Prize must be accepted as offered and no substitution is allowed. The Prize is not
transferable or convertible to cash. If a prize winner does not accept a Prize as offered,
another entrant will be selected by HSBC. Prizes may not be exactly as described. Neither
HSBC nor its affiliates, subsidiaries, sponsors, suppliers or otherwise make any warranty,
representation or guarantee, express or implied, in relation to a Prize, including without
limitation quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
17.
Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant will be required to: (a) correctly answer a
mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical or other aid; and (b) sign and return
within ten (10) business days of notification HSBC’s declaration and release form, which
(among other things): (i) confirms compliance with these terms and conditions; (ii)
acknowledges acceptance of the Prize as awarded; (iii) releases HSBC and the Participating
Branches and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives, successors
and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any and all liability in connection with this
promotion, the selected entrant’s participation therein and/or the awarding and use/misuse of
the Prize or any portion thereof; and (iv) agrees to the publication, reproduction and/or other
use of the selected entrant’s name, address, voice, statements about the promotion, essay(s)
and/or photograph or other likeness without further notice or compensation, in any publicity or
advertisement carried out by HSBC or on its behalf in any manner whatsoever, including print,
broadcast or the internet. If the selected entrant: (a) fails to correctly answer the skill-testing
question; and/or (b) fails to return the properly executed release within the specified time, then
he/she will forfeit the Prize and HSBC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to randomly
select an alternate eligible entrant from among the remaining eligible ballots.
18.
By participating in this Lucky Draw, entrants agree unconditionally to these Lucky Draw Terms
and Conditions. Entrants further agree to be bound by the decisions of HSBC regarding these
Terms and Conditions or in any way relating to this Lucky Draw, as may be determined by
HSBC in its sole discretion, which decisions will be final and binding in all respects.
19.
The Lucky Draw is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.

By entering the Lucky Draw, each entrant expressly consents to HSBC and the applicable
Participating Branch, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using the
personal information submitted with his/her essay(s) or otherwise provided in order to enter
the Lucky Draw only for the purpose of administering the Lucky Draw and in accordance with
HSBC’s and the applicable Participating Branch’s privacy policy (available at:
http://www.hsbc.ca/1/2/personal/privacy), unless the entrant otherwise agrees.

The Québec Lucky Draw is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. Any litigation
respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie
for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board
only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
40.
By entering the Québec Lucky Draw, each entrant expressly consents to HSBC and the
applicable Participating Branch, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using

加拿大汇丰银行于 2014 年 1 月 24 日至 2 月 28 日（包含上述日期）举办的「汇丰卓越理财春节幸运大抽
奖」（下称「幸运大抽奖」）受本条款及条件约束。请仔细阅读本条款及条件，以了解如何参加抽奖及赢取
价值 2,000 元礼卡。
定义
1.
本条款及条件使用的词彙定义如下：
(a)
「奖品」指加拿大航空 2,000 元礼卡。奖项总共 46 个（每家参与抽奖活动的分行各有 1 个）。每
位得奖人限领一份奖品。
(b)
「汇丰」指加拿大汇丰银行。
(c)

「汇丰附属机构」指隶属汇丰证券（加拿大）有限公司的汇丰投资通、汇丰投资基金（加拿大）

有限公司，及／或汇丰环球投资管理（加拿大）有限公司。
(d)
「新资金」指客户在促销期（定义见下文）投资于合资格户口（定义见下文）的资金，金额须为
10,000 加元或以上。该笔资金必须从未投资于或存入过汇丰或其附属机构。合资格投资包括非
注册 GIC 及定期存款，支票及储蓄户口存款均不符合本幸运抽奖资格。
(e)
「客户」指在幸运大抽奖截止当日（定义见下文），身分为参与抽奖活动分行的汇丰卓越理财现
有客户或新客户，包括在促销期由汇丰零售服务及汇丰运筹理财升级为汇丰卓越理财的客户。
(f)
「参与抽奖活动的分行」指本条款及条件尾段所列的汇丰分行。
(g)
「促销期」指 2014 年 1 月 24 日西岸时间中午 12:00 至 2014 年 2 月 28 日西岸时间晚上 11:59
（幸运大抽奖截止日期）（包含上述日期）。
(h)
「合资格户口」指客户于促销期内，在下列参与抽奖活动的分行新开立或已持有的汇丰、及／或
汇丰附属机构非注册投资户口，该户口于幸运大抽奖截止当日，必须仍由客户持有。

汇丰投资通为汇丰证券（加拿大）有限公司的分支机构，本身独立营运，为加拿大保障投资者基金会会员。汇丰证券（加拿大）有
限公司为加拿大汇丰银行的全资附属机构，但本身为独立法人。

参加资格
2.
幸运抽奖开放给加拿大卑诗省、亚伯特省和安大略省的居民参与，参加者须年满 19 岁。汇丰、
其附属及联营机构、广告代理商的僱员（包括直系亲属）、代表及代理，以及与这些人一同居
住的人士，均不符合参加本幸运大抽奖资格。
3.
「汇丰卓越理财」的新客户或现有客户，在促销期内于某一合资格非注册户口，每投资 10,000
加元新资金，即可获得一（1）张抽奖券，抽奖券于幸运大抽奖截止日发出，并会自动参加抽
奖。客户存放的新资金，于幸运大抽奖截止当日，必须仍存放于合资格户口之内，才符合参加
抽奖资格。
4.
参加抽奖，无需购物。个别人士如符合上述第 2 节所列条件，向下列参与抽奖活动分行的业务
代表呈交手写文章正本，亦可参加抽奖。在促销期间，以非购物方式参加抽奖的人士，最多可
呈交 5 份文章（无论在多少间参与抽奖活动的分行提交），机器复製的文章并不符合资格。以
非购物方式参加抽奖的人士，向参与抽奖活动分行呈交一份文章，即可获得一（1）张抽奖券，
但最多只限五（5）张。文章必须由参加者手写于一张 8.5” x 11”纸张上，最少 200 字，内容须
陈述「汇丰卓越理财有什麽主要优惠？」。呈交资料需包括：姓名、邮寄地址、电邮地址及电
话号码。
5.
本抽奖活动只限于促销期内在参与抽奖活动的分行适用。
6.
本抽奖活动将于 2014 年 3 月 31 日西岸时间中午 12:00，在各参与抽奖活动的分行抽出中奖幸
运儿。
其他条件
7.
汇丰可以随时酌情修改、延长，或取消本幸运抽奖，无需事先通知。
8.
如果汇丰及其附属机构怀疑或发现任何人滥用以至影响本抽奖活动的运作、违反本抽奖活动的
规条或有诈骗行为，汇丰有权拒绝或终止该人士参与本抽奖活动。此外，如果汇丰及其附属机
构发现有参加者所投资的新资金为非法所得或作非法用途，汇丰亦有权拒绝或终止该参加者参
与本抽奖活动。
9.
若您迁往或身在别的司法管辖区，由于各地法律不同，因此汇丰及其附属机构所提供的服务，
可能受限制或无法提供。不过，汇丰集团或能通过该地区的附属公司，提供类似的服务。
10.
开立「合资格户口」必须符合汇丰及其附属机对该户口类别所要求的开户资格。
11.
获抽中的幸运儿，会于 2014 年 3 月 31 日中部时间中午 12:00，开始收到客户经理通知。
12.
获奖机率视每间参与抽奖活动分行所收到的合格参与者数量而定。
13.
获抽中的幸运儿，必须正确回答一道数学技能测试题，才可成为得奖者。
14.
获抽中的幸运儿，需要在收到领奖通知的 5 天之内，到参与抽奖活动的分行领取其所得的奖
品。

15.
如果 3 通电话仍未能联络上获抽中的幸运儿，或获抽中的幸运儿未能于 48 小时内回覆我们的电
话留言，或获抽中的幸运儿未能于限时内正确回答数学技能测试题，或获抽中的幸运儿未能于
汇丰发出领奖通知的 5 天之内领取奖品，该幸运儿的资格会被取消，汇丰会于相关分行馀下的
参加者中抽出另一位幸运儿。
16.
得奖者必须接受奖品，奖品不可替换、转让或兑换现金。如果得奖者不接受奖品，汇丰会另行
抽出一位参加者。奖品未必完全如所述一样。汇丰、其联营机构、附属公司、赞助商、供应
商，或其他相关人士，没有明文或含示，为与奖品相关的事项，包括但不限于质量、可销性或
合适性等，作出保证、声明，和担保。
17.
获抽中的幸运儿被正式公布为得奖者之前，必须：(a) 在没有机器或其他协助之下，正确回答一
道数学技能测试题；及(b)在收到汇丰通知的 10 个营业日之内，签署及寄回得奖者声明及免除责
任书（连同其他资料）给汇丰：(i)确认遵守这些条款及条件；(ii)确认同意接受汇丰颁发的奖
品；(iii)免除汇丰、参加抽奖活动的分行、相关活动的主管、董事、代理人、代表、继任人，及
委任人（统称「被免除责任人」），与本抽奖活动相关、及获抽中的幸运儿因参与抽奖活动，
及／或获颁奖品和正确或错误使用奖品或其任何部分，而引起的任何或全部责任；及(iv)同意汇
丰无需通知或提供补偿，将获抽中幸运儿的姓名、地址、声音、有关抽奖活动的声明、文章及
／或照片，或类似的资料，刊登、复製，及／或作为其他用途，汇丰可以使用印刷、广播，或
互联网等任何形式，将上述资料製作为汇丰或汇丰授权的宣传品或广告。如果获抽中的幸运
儿：(a) 未能正确回答数学技能测试题；及／或(b)未能于规定时间内寄回适当签署的免除责任
书，其奖品将会被没收，而汇丰可以保留权利，酌情于馀下合资格参加者中抽出另一位幸运
儿。
18.
参加幸运抽奖，即表示参加者无条件同意本抽奖活动的条款及条件。另外，亦表示参加者同意
接受汇丰按本幸运抽奖条款及条件，或任何与本抽奖活动有关事宜而所作的决定约束。该等决
定为最终决定并具有约束力。
19.
幸运抽奖受适用的法律及条例规管。
20.
除非与参加者另有协议，参加幸运大抽奖，每位参加者明确同意，汇丰及参与抽奖活动的分行
、其代理商及／或代表，可以储存、共享和使用参加者在呈交参加抽奖活动文章时一併提供的
个人资料，这些资料只可作抽奖活动的行政之用，使用时须符合汇丰及汇丰隐私政策（可到
www.hsbc.ca/1/2/personal/privacy 参阅）的规定。

Les présentes conditions régissent le Tirage chanceux du Nouvel An chinois HSBC Premier de la Banque
HSBC Canada, en vigueur à partir du 24 janvier 2014 à midi (HP) jusqu’au 28 février 2014 à 23 h 59 (HP),
inclusivement (le «tirage chanceux»). Veuillez lire avec soin les présentes conditions, car celles-ci
expliquent comment participer au tirage pour tenter de gagner une des quarante-six (46) cartes-cadeaux
de 2 000 $ de Air Canada*.
DÉFINITIONS
1.
(a)
Dans les présentes conditions, l’expression :
«prix» désigne une carte-cadeau de 2 000 $ de Air Canada. Il y a quarante-six (46) prix à
gagner au total (un par succursale participante). Limite d’un prix par gagnant du tirage
chanceux.
(b)
«HSBC» désigne la Banque HSBC Canada.
(c)
«filiale de la HSBC» désigne la division InvestDirect HSBC de Valeurs mobilières HSBC

(d)
«nouveaux fonds» désigne un montant de 10 000,00 $CA ou plus investi dans un compte

«client» désigne un client HSBC Premier nouveau ou actuel d’une succursale participante au
moment de la date de clôture du tirage chanceux (tel que définie ci-dessous). Cette désignation
inclut les clients HSBC Advance et les clients de détail qui passent à l’ensemble HSBC Premier
durant la période de promotion.

«succursales participantes» désigne les succursales de la HSBC indiquées ci-après.

«période de promotion» désigne la période qui commence le 24 janvier 2014 à midi (HP), et

(h)
«compte admissible» désigne un compte non enregistré auprès de la HSBC ou d’une de ses
filiales ouvert ou détenu par un client pendant la période de promotion et qui est toujours détenu
par le client au moment de la date de clôture du tirage chanceux.

CONDITIONS D’ADMISSIBILITÉ

Seuls les résidents âgés de 19 ans ou plus sont admissibles au tirage chanceux en ColombieBritannique, en Alberta et en Ontario, Canada. Les employés, les représentants et les
mandataires de la HSBC et ses filiales ou sociétés affiliées et leurs agences (ainsi que les
membres de leur famille immédiate et les personnes avec qui elles résident) ne sont pas
admissibles au tirage chanceux.
3.
Les clients HSBC Premier, nouveaux ou existants, ont droit à un (1) bulletin de participation
pour chaque tranche de 10 000 $CA de nouveaux fonds investis dans un compte admissible
pendant la période de promotion. Les bulletins seront émis à la date de clôture du tirage
chanceux et seront automatiquement admissibles au tirage. Pour être admissibles au tirage
chanceux, les nouveaux fonds doivent toujours être investis dans un compte admissible à la
date de clôture du tirage chanceux.
4.
Aucun achat requis. Les personnes qui répondent aux exigences établies dans la section 2 (cidessus) peuvent obtenir un (1) bulletin de participation au tirage chanceux en répondant à la
question «Quels sont les principaux avantages de HSBC Premier?» dans un texte manuscrit
de 200 mots ou plus sur une seule feuille de papier de format 8 sur 11 po. Le texte doit être
remis en mains propres à un représentant de la HSBC dans l’une des succursales
participantes en Colombie-Britannique, en Alberta ou en Ontario. Maximum de cinq (5) textes
par participant. Les textes reproduits mécaniquement ne sont pas acceptés. Les personnes
qui participent au tirage au moyen d’un texte auront droit à un (1) seul bulletin de participation
par texte manuscrit original reçu par une succursale participante, sous réserve de la limite des
cinq bulletins. Ces participants devront indiquer leur nom, adresse postale, adresse
électronique et numéro de téléphone.
5.
Le tirage chanceux s’applique uniquement aux succursales participantes pendant la période
de promotion.
6.
Un véritable tirage sera effectué parmi tous les bulletins de participation soumis dans chaque
succursale participante à midi, HP, le 31 mars 2014.
AUTRES CONDITIONS
7.
Le tirage chanceux peut être modifié, prolongé ou annulé, au gré de la HSBC, en tout temps et
sans préavis.
8.
La HSBC et ses filiales se réservent le droit de refuser ou d’annuler la participation de toute
personne au tirage chanceux si elles soupçonnent ou découvrent que ladite personne tire
profit de façon abusive de la nature même de ce tirage, contrevient aux présents règlements
ou commet une fraude, ou si la HSBC détermine, à sa seule discrétion, que les nouveaux
fonds sont investis de façon illégale ou à des fins illégales.
9.
Certains des services offerts par la HSBC et ses filiales peuvent faire l’objet de restrictions ou
ne pas être disponibles si vous habitez ou déménagez dans une autre région, au Canada ou à
l’étranger, en raison des lois en vigueur dans cette région. D’autres filiales de la société
HSBC Holdings plc pourraient, cependant, être en mesure de vous offrir un service ou un
produit semblable dans cette région.
10.
L’ouverture d’un compte admissible demeure assujettie aux exigences habituelles de la HSBC
et de ses filiales s’appliquant au type de compte ouvert.
11.
Les participants choisis pour un prix seront prévenus par leur gestionnaire de relations
bancaires vers le 31 mars 2014, à partir de midi (HP).
12.
Les chances de remporter un prix dépendent du nombre de bulletins de participation
admissibles soumis dans les succursales participantes.
13.
Pour avoir droit à son prix, chaque participant choisi devra répondre correctement, sans aide
mécanique ou de toute autre nature, et dans le délai fixé par la HSBC à une question
réglementaire portant sur l’arithmétique.
14.
Les participants choisis devront prendre possession de leur prix à la succursale participante
dans les cinq (5) jours suivant la date à laquelle ils sont invités à le faire.
15.
Si l’un des participants choisis ne peut être joint par téléphone après trois (3) tentatives, ne
répond pas à un message téléphonique dans les 48 heures, ne répond pas correctement à la
question réglementaire portant sur l’arithmétique dans le délai imparti, ne retourne pas à la
HSBC le formulaire de déclaration et de renonciation comportant sa signature dans le délai
imparti ou ne prend pas possession de son prix dans les cinq jours suivant la date à laquelle il
est invité à le faire, un autre participant sera tiré au sort parmi les autres bulletins de
participation admissibles.
16.
Le prix doit être accepté tel quel, et aucune substitution n’est permise. Il ne peut être ni
transféré ni converti en argent. Si l’un des gagnants refuse le prix tel qu’il est offert, la HSBC
choisira un autre participant. Les prix peuvent ne pas correspondre exactement à la
description. Ni la HSBC, ni ses sociétés affiliées, filiales, commanditaires, fournisseurs ou
autres ne font de déclaration ni ne donnent quelque garantie, expresse ou tacite, relativement
au prix, y compris notamment sur sa qualité, sa valeur marchande ou son adaptabilité à un
usage en particulier.
17.
Pour avoir droit à son prix, le participant choisi devra : a) répondre correctement à une
question réglementaire portant sur l’arithmétique, sans aide mécanique ou de toute autre
nature; b) signer et retourner, dans un délai de dix (10) jours ouvrables, un formulaire de
déclaration et de renonciation de la HSBC, qui confirme, notamment : i) qu’il a respecté les
conditions du concours; ii) qu’il accepte le prix tel qu’il est attribué; iii) qu’il dégage la HSBC et
les succursales participantes de même que leurs dirigeants, administrateurs, mandataires,
représentants, successeurs et ayants droit (collectivement, les «renonciataires»), de toute
responsabilité liée à la présente promotion, à sa participation au concours ou à l’octroi, à
l’utilisation ou à l’usage inapproprié du prix ou d’une partie du prix; et iv) qu’il consent à la
publication, à la reproduction ou à tout autre usage de son nom, de son adresse, de sa voix et
de ses déclarations relatives à la promotion, de ses textes ou de photos ou tout autre élément
similaire, sans autre avis ni rémunération, dans toute publicité effectuée par la HSBC ou en
son nom, de quelque manière que ce soit, y compris sous forme de texte imprimé, de diffusion
ou sur l’Internet. Si le gagnant : a) ne répond pas correctement à la question réglementaire
portant sur l’arithmétique et/ou b) ne retourne pas la renonciation dûment signée dans le délai
requis, il renoncera à tout droit relatif au prix et la HSBC se réserve le droit (à son entière
discrétion) de choisir un autre gagnant au hasard parmi les autres bulletins de participation
admissibles.
18.
En participant au tirage chanceux, les participants acceptent sans réserve les présentes
conditions. Ils acceptent aussi d’être liés par les décisions prises par la HSBC, à son entière
discrétion, concernant les conditions ou se rapportant de quelque façon au tirage chanceux,
décisions qui seront finales et exécutoires à tous égards.
19.
Le tirage chanceux est assujetti à l’ensemble des lois et règlements applicables.
20.
En participant au tirage chanceux, chaque participant consent expressément à ce que la
HSBC et les succursales participantes, leurs mandataires et/ou leurs représentants,
entreposent, partagent et utilisent les renseignements personnels qu’il a soumis avec ses
textes ou autrement pour participer au tirage chanceux, et ce, dans le seul but d’administrer
le tirage chanceux et conformément à la politique de confidentialité de la HSBC et des
succursales participantes (disponible à l’adresse :
http://www.hsbc.ca/1/2/fr/personal/privacy), à moins que le participant n’en convienne
autrement.

succursales participantes. Maximum de cinq (5) textes par participant. Les textes reproduits
mécaniquement ne sont pas acceptés. Les personnes qui participent au tirage au moyen d’un
texte auront droit à un (1) seul bulletin de participation par texte manuscrit original reçu par
une succursale participante, sous réserve de la limite des cinq bulletins. Ces participants
devront indiquer leur nom, adresse postale, adresse électronique et numéro de téléphone.
5.
Le tirage chanceux au Québec s’applique uniquement aux succursales participantes pendant
la période de promotion.
6.
Un véritable tirage sera effectué parmi tous les bulletins de participation soumis dans chaque
succursale participante à midi, HE, le 31 mars 2014.
AUTRES CONDITIONS
7.
Le tirage chanceux au Québec peut être modifié, prolongé ou annulé, au gré de la HSBC, en
tout temps et sans préavis, sous réserve de l’approbation de la Régie des alcools, des courses
et des jeux.
8.
La HSBC et ses filiales se réservent le droit de refuser ou d’annuler la participation de toute
personne au tirage chanceux au Québec si elles soupçonnent ou découvrent, à leur seule
appréciation, que ladite personne tire profit de façon abusive de la nature même de ce tirage,
contrevient aux présents règlements ou commet une fraude, ou si la HSBC détermine, à sa
seule discrétion, que les nouveaux fonds sont investis de façon illégale ou à des fins illégales.
9.
Certains des services offerts par la HSBC et ses filiales peuvent faire l’objet de restrictions ou
ne pas être disponibles si vous habitez ou déménagez dans une autre région, au Canada ou à
l’étranger, en raison des lois en vigueur dans cette région. D’autres filiales de la société
HSBC Holdings plc pourraient, cependant, être en mesure de vous offrir un service ou un
produit semblable dans cette région.
10.
L’ouverture d’un compte admissible demeure assujettie aux exigences habituelles de la HSBC
et de ses filiales s’appliquant au type de compte ouvert.
11.
Les participants choisis pour un prix seront prévenus par leur gestionnaire de relations
bancaires vers le 31 mars 2014, à partir de midi (HE).
12.
Les chances de remporter un prix dépendent du nombre de bulletins de participation
admissibles soumis dans les succursales participantes.
13.
Pour avoir droit à son prix, chaque participant choisi devra répondre correctement, sans aide
mécanique ou de toute autre nature, et dans le délai fixé par la HSBC à une question
réglementaire portant sur l’arithmétique.
14.
Les participants choisis devront prendre possession de leur prix à la succursale participante
dans les cinq (5) jours suivant la date à laquelle ils sont invités à le faire.
15.
Si l’un des participants choisis ne peut être joint par téléphone après trois (3) tentatives, ne
répond pas à un message téléphonique dans les 48 heures, ne répond pas correctement à la
question réglementaire portant sur l’arithmétique dans le délai imparti, ne retourne pas à la
HSBC le formulaire de déclaration et de renonciation comportant sa signature dans le délai
imparti ou ne prend pas possession de son prix dans les cinq jours suivant la date à laquelle il
est invité à le faire, un autre participant sera tiré au sort parmi les autres bulletins de
participation admissibles.
16.
Le prix doit être accepté tel quel, et aucune substitution n’est permise. Il ne peut être ni
transféré ni converti en argent. Si l’un des gagnants refuse le prix tel qu’il est offert, la HSBC
choisira un autre participant. Les prix peuvent ne pas correspondre exactement à la
description. Ni la HSBC, ni ses sociétés affiliées, filiales, commanditaires, fournisseurs ou
autres ne font de déclaration ni ne donnent quelque garantie, expresse ou tacite, relativement
au prix, y compris notamment sur sa qualité, sa valeur marchande ou son adaptabilité à un
usage en particulier.
17.
Pour avoir droit à son prix, le participant choisi devra : a) répondre correctement à une
question réglementaire portant sur l’arithmétique, sans aide mécanique ou de toute autre
nature; b) signer et retourner, dans un délai de dix (10) jours ouvrables, un formulaire de
déclaration et de renonciation de la HSBC, qui confirme, notamment : i) qu’il a respecté les
conditions du concours; ii) qu’il accepte le prix tel qu’il est attribué; iii) qu’il dégage la HSBC et
les succursales participantes de même que leurs dirigeants, administrateurs, mandataires,
représentants, successeurs et ayants droit (collectivement, les «renonciataires»), de toute
responsabilité liée à la présente promotion, à sa participation au concours ou à l’octroi, à
l’utilisation ou à l’usage inapproprié du prix ou d’une partie du prix; et iv) qu’il consent à la
publication, à la reproduction ou à tout autre usage de son nom, de son adresse, de sa voix et
de ses déclarations relatives à la promotion, de ses textes ou de photos ou tout autre élément
similaire, sans autre avis ni rémunération, dans toute publicité effectuée par la HSBC ou en
son nom, de quelque manière que ce soit, y compris sous forme de texte imprimé, de diffusion
ou sur l’Internet. Si le gagnant : a) ne répond pas correctement à la question réglementaire
portant sur l’arithmétique et/ou b) ne retourne pas la renonciation dûment signée dans le délai
requis, il renoncera à tout droit relatif au prix et la HSBC se réserve le droit (à son entière
discrétion) de choisir un autre gagnant au hasard parmi les autres bulletins de participation
admissibles.
18.
En participant au tirage chanceux au Québec, les participants acceptent sans réserve les
présentes conditions. Ils acceptent aussi d’être liés par les décisions prises par la HSBC, à
son entière discrétion, concernant les conditions ou se rapportant de quelque façon au tirage
chanceux au Québec, décisions qui seront finales et exécutoires à tous égards.
19.
Le tirage chanceux au Québec est assujetti à l’ensemble des lois et règlements applicables.
Tout litige concernant le déroulement ou l’organisation d’un concours peut être soumis pour
règlement à la Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux. Tout différend relatif à l’attribution
d’un prix ne peut être soumis à la Régie seulement afin qu’elle aide les parties à parvenir à
un règlement.
En participant au tirage chanceux au Québec, chaque participant consent expressément à ce
que la HSBC et les succursales participantes, leurs mandataires et/ou leurs représentants,
entreposent, partagent et utilisent les renseignements personnels qu’il a soumis avec ses
textes ou autrement pour participer au tirage chanceux au Québec, et ce, dans le seul but
d’administrer le tirage chanceux au Québec, conformément à la politique de confidentialité de
la HSBC (disponible à l’adresse : http://www.hsbc.ca/1/2/fr/personal/privacy), à moins que le
participant n’en convienne autrement.
20.
Pour toute question relative au concours, veuillez communiquer avec un représentant de la HSBC dans l’une des
