Corporate history: On 15th April 2003, the Luxembourg-based Banque
Privée Edmond de Rothschild Europe opened a branch in Brussels. This
Belgium Branch, the Bank’s third outside Luxembourg, employs 20
experienced professionals and specialises in wealth management for high net
worth individuals and families.
The history of Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild Europe dates back to
1969, when Geneva-based Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild became the
first Swiss bank to establish a branch in Luxembourg. Banque Privée Edmond
de Rothschild Europe is currently the largest Swiss bank in Luxembourg. Part
of the Geneva-based LCF Rothschild Group, the Bank embodies the
successful wealth management which has been a Rothschild family tradition
over seven generations.

Private Banking
We provide the full range of private banking services to individuals and
families having various needs.
1) Tailor-made wealth management services.
2) Asset Management:
• Discretionary: to employ the full asset management services of the
bank;
• Advisory: for clients who wish to manage their portfolio, benefiting
from the professional advice and experience of the bank;
• External: for clients who have a preferred investment manager. The
bank centralises all transactions and tasks and takes a supervisory
and safe-keeping role;
• Unmanaged accounts: for clients who wish to manage their portfolios
themselves.
3) Rothschild Family Advisory acts as a private family office for families
with substantial wealth. Services offered include: investment
management; insurance counselling and planning; income tax planning
and consultation; estate and inheritance planning; real estate services; art
and collection advisory; specialised services such as education and
medical.
4) Financial Engineering and Estate Planning includes a wide available
range of services tailored to satisfy the specific requirements of private
clients. A few examples are: restructuring and optimising shareholdings;
company financing; organising financial flows and income (such as
dividends, profits, interests, royalties); acquiring and managing patents
and trade marks.
Institutional Asset Management and Related Support Services
