Le Programme REVA (Réseau Educatif des Villes Ariane) mis en place par la CVA (Communauté des Villes
Ariane) avec le soutien de l’ISSAT (Institut au Service du Spatial, de ses Applications et Technologies) a pour but
d’encourager les échanges éducatifs sur les activités spatiales, et le transport spatial en particulier, au sein du
réseau CVA.
Dans ce contexte, la CVA organise des séminaires annuels qui permettent à des enseignants du secondaire et à
des personnels éducatifs de niveau équivalent des Villes Membres et non membres de la CVA, de participer à
une formation sur le thème du Spatial. Cette possibilité est également offerte aux médiateurs scientifiques.
Après Toulouse en 2008, Lampoldshausen en 2009, Brême en 2010, Liège en 2011, Brême en 2012, Terrassa en
2013, Séville en 2014, et Kourou en 2015, c’est la Ville de Hardthausen/Lampoldshausen qui accueille le
prochain séminaire REVA, du 18 au 21 juillet 2016.
Cette 9ème session aura pour thème "Propulsion Spatiale, aujourd’hui et demain"
Le programme comportera deux présentations, une sur Adeline, le projet d’Airbus pour une fusée réutilisable,
et une sur les systèmes photovoltaïques des satellites. Des ateliers pratiques autour de la construction de
modèles de fusée et d’un kit électronique Arduino avec capteurs sont également prévus, ainsi qu’une visite
commentée de l'exposition du DLR, une visite des bancs d'essai des systèmes de propulsion d'Ariane et des
satellites et une visite de l'Experimenta Science Center à Heilbronn. Par ailleurs les professeurs responsables
des projets scolaires bilatéraux issus de REVA présenteront leurs projets aux autres participants. Après la
première journée de séminaire une réception à la Mairie de Hartdhausen sera offerte par le maire et président
de la CVA. Durant le séminaire, les temps libres seront propices aux échanges entre les participants,
enseignants, et proviseurs / chefs d'établissements invités à participer au séminaire !

The REVA (Educational Network of Ariane Cities) Programme was set up by the CVA (Community of Ariane
Cities) with the support of the ISSAT Association (Institute for Space and its Applications and Technologies). Its
aim is to encourage educational exchanges relating to space activities – especially space transportation – within
the CVA network.
In this context, the CVA organises annual seminars to give secondary-school teachers in Member and nonmember CVA Cities the opportunity to attend space-related training. This possibility is extended to science
coaches or facilitators.
After Toulouse in 2008, Lampoldshausen in 2009, Bremen in 2010, Liège in 2011, Bremen again in 2012,
Terrassa in 2013, Seville in 2014, and Kourou in 2015, the Municipality of Hardthausen/Lampoldshausen will
host the next REVA Seminar on space transportation, from 18 to 21 July 2016.
The 9th session will focus specifically on "Space Propulsion, today and tomorrow".
The program will contain two presentations, a lecture on Airbus’ Adeline project for a reusable rocket, and
another on the photovoltaic systems of satellites. Practical workshops on building a rocket model and an
Arduino electronic kit with sensors are also planned. There will be also a visit of the DLR exhibition and of the
propulsion test rigs for Ariane and for satellites, a visit of the Experimenta Science Center in Heilbronn. Besides
some teachers will present 2 bilateral school projects induced by REVA. After the first day of seminar, a
reception at the City hall of Hartdhausen will be offered by the mayor and the president of the CVA. During the
seminar, time will be set aside for exchanges between the participants and also with the secondary-school
headteachers, who are invited to participate in the Seminar!

Les informations concernant le séminaire REVA (programme, informations pratiques, prise en charge, bulletin
d’inscription) seront accessibles sur le site REVA : http://www.education-cva.eu/

- Enseignants du secondaire (collèges et lycées), principalement en mathématiques, sciences, physique,
langues,
- Futurs enseignants en fin d’études,
- Autres personnels éducatifs de niveau équivalent (médiateurs scientifiques, animateurs)
- les proviseurs, invités à participer au séminaire,
Le nombre de participants par ville membre de la CVA est contingenté, dans un souci d’équité pour tous les
membres. La règle est de trois participants par ville CVA, mais cela peut évoluer s’il reste des places vacantes. Si
une ville n’est pas membre CVA mais est représentée par un industriel, le nombre de trois participants ne
pourra être dépassé.
Les enseignants retraités pourront participer en justifiant de leur apport au groupe, leur participation sera
validée au cas par cas.
Le conjoint non-enseignant ou l’enfant d’un enseignant pourra participer s’il reste des places vacantes.
Dates et lieu
Début : le 18 juillet en fin d’après-midi – Fin : le 21 juillet en fin d’après-midi, à Hardthausen/Lampoldshausen,
Allemagne.
Modalités
La CVA offre une formule tout compris incluant :
- une formation de trois jours sur le transport spatial (maximum 30 participants) avec conférences, atelier,
visites, et documentation. Les conférences, ateliers et visites seront présentés en anglais,
- le transport durant le séjour, pour se rendre sur les lieux de visites,
- l’hébergement du 18 au 21 juillet (3 nuits) incluant les petits déjeuners à l’Hôtel,
- les déjeuners, les pauses café, les réceptions.
(Les repas du soir sont à la charge des participants, de même que les nuits et petits déjeuners supplémentaires.)
La participation à ce séminaire donne droit au statut d'ancien élève de la CVA (Alumni) ce qui permet de
participer, une fois, à un voyage organisé par la CVA en Guyane à un tarif préférentiel.
Délai d’inscription
Dans les meilleurs délais, et, au plus tard, le 27 mai 2016. La liste retenue tiendra compte de l’ordre d’arrivée
des inscriptions.
Si le nombre de 15 participants n'est pas atteint, la CVA se réserve le droit d'annuler le séminaire, auquel cas les
frais d’inscription seront remboursés.
Hébergement
Il est demandé à chaque participant de bien indiquer son jour d’arrivée et de départ sur le bulletin
d’inscription. Nous nous chargeons des réservations.
L’hébergement à l’Hôtel est offert pour les enseignants participant au Séminaire, du 18 au 21 juillet 2016. Les
frais de séjour ne seront pas offerts si les participants choisissent de séjourner dans un autre hôtel que celui
proposé par REVA ou pour les nuits supplémentaires passées dans l’hôtel retenu.

Bulletin d’inscription et contribution financière
Pour formaliser votre inscription, le bulletin d’inscription doit être complété et retourné à [email protected],
dans les meilleurs délais, et au plus tard le 27 mai 2016.
Des frais de participation, sont demandés lors de cette inscription, ils peuvent être réglés par virement
bancaire (de préférence) ou par chèque à l’ordre de la CVA.
Les informations bancaires de la CVA pour le virement figurent sur le bulletin d’inscription. Le chèque à l’ordre
de la CVA est collecté par l’ISSAT, voir coordonnées ci-dessous.
A réception de votre bulletin d’inscription et du règlement, nous en accuserons réception et analyserons votre
demande d’inscription.
Nous vous enverrons fin mai une confirmation de l'admission définitive de votre inscription.
Les tarifs sont les suivants :

Enseignant, personnel éducatif du réseau CVA (ville/industriel membre de la CVA) : 150 €
Enseignant, personnel éducatif hors réseau CVA (ville/industriel non-membre de la CVA) : 500 €
Les proviseurs, chefs d’établissements du secondaire, invités à participer au séminaire, ne paient pas de
frais d’inscription mais règlent leurs frais d’hébergement (frais d’hôtel).
S’il reste des places, les accompagnants sont les bienvenus pour participer à la partie non professionnelle du
programme. Ces personnes devront s’acquitter des frais d’hébergement, petits-déjeuners et repas, droits
d’entrée et transport.
En cas d’annulation du participant après le 27 mai, les frais d’inscription ne seront pas remboursés.
En cas de désistement du participant après le 30 juin, une somme de 500 € correspondant aux frais engagés
(hôtel, transport…) sera due à la CVA.

REVA Seminar 2016: PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Information about the REVA Seminar (programme, practical information, what the fee covers, registration
form) will be available on the REVA website: http://www.education-cva.eu/
Target audience
• Mainly maths, science, physics and language teachers from secondary schools
• Teachers who are about to qualify
• Science coaches and facilitators
• the Secondary school Headteachers invited to participate in the Seminar
The number of participants is limited for each CVA member city, with an objective of equity between the
members. The norm should be three participants per CVA member city but, depending on the number of
participants, the CVA member cities may propose more participants. If a city is not a CVA member, but only the
industry, the participation from this city is limited to three teachers (regardless if there are free places or not).
Retired teachers must explain the added value of their participation and their role at their school. Participation
will be decided on a case by case basis.
Partners and children may participate if place is available.
Dates
Start: 18 July 2016 in the evening – End: 21 July 2016, at the end of the afternoon, in
Hardthausen/Lampoldshausen, Germany.
Terms
The CVA offers an all-inclusive formula that covers:
• Three-day training on space transportation (maximum 30 participants) with lectures, workshop, visits and
documentation. The lectures, workshops and visits will be in English,
• transport during the stay, for the visits,
• accommodation from 18 to 21 July 2016 (3 nights) including breakfast at hotel,
• lunches, coffee breaks, receptions.
(Evening meals are to be paid for by the participants as well as extra nights and breakfasts)
To be mentioned that participating in this seminar entitles the status of an alumnus of the CVA which allows to
participate once in a trip organized by the CVA in Guyana, to a special rate.
Registration deadline
As soon as possible, and no later than 27 May 2016. Participants will be registered on a first come, first served
basis.
To be noticed: if the number of 15 participants is not reached, then the CVA reserves the right to cancel the
seminar. In this case, the registration fees will be refunded.
Accommodation
Each participant should indicate his/her arrival and departure dates on the registration form. We will handle
reservations.
Accommodation at the hotel is free of charge to teachers participant in the seminar from 18 to 21 July.
Accommodation will not be paid if participants choose to stay in a hotel other than the one selected by REVA
and nor will additional nights in the selected hotel.

Registration form and financial contribution
To confirm your registration, the registration form must be completed and returned to the e-mail address
[email protected], as soon as possible, and no later than 27 May 2016.
The registration fee should be paid preferably by bank transfer or by cheque payable to the CVA.
CVA bank details for the transfer are to be found on registration form. Bank check payable to CVA is collected
by ISSAT (see below ISSAT coordinates).
Upon reception, we will acknowledge reception of your form and payment, and shall analyze your registration
demand.
At the end of May, we shall send you a confirmation of your definitive registration.
Registration fees are the following:
- Teacher, educational personal from a CVA member city/industry: 150 €
- Teacher from a non-CVA member city/industry: 500 €
- Invited secondary school headteachers do not pay registration fees but settle their accommodation cost
(hotel fees).
If place is available, accompanying persons are welcome to participate in the non-professional part of the
programme. Costs for the accommodation, breakfast/lunch/dinner, entrance fees and transportation have to
be paid by each accompanying person.
If a participant cancels his/her participation after 27 May, the registration fee will not be refunded.
If a participant cancels his/her participation after 30 June, he/she must pay the CVA €500 corresponding to the
expenses already incurred by that date (hotel, transportation…).
