[email protected] Summer Job: Development Assistant ­ Food Programs As part of Canada Summer Jobs Program, ACCM is hiring a development assistant for our food programs for people living with HIV or hepatitis C: My Pantry, Dinner and Discussion, and the Buyers Club. This person will support ACCM’s commitment to food security through the solicitation of in­kind donations of food products, nutritional suppliments, and supplies, as well as the creation of a mail fundraiser. Is a people­person. You’re upbeat and can get people excited to join our cause. Takes initative and loves a challenge. You seek opportunities, and aren’t afraid to ask for support. You make a great sales pitch. Has experience in sales, fundraising, community engagement, and/or hospitality. Is perfectly bilingual in French and English, written and spoken. Has strong organizational skills. You identify and communicate priorities based on the needs, objectives, and values of the organization. Can be an ambassador for ACCM to our internal and external partners. You believe in our organization’s mission, and will work through our values. As an asset, has fundamental knowledge of HIV, HepC, ACCM, the non­profit community, and Montreal’s queer and trans communities. You are a firm believer in anti­opression and food security. As an asset, has experience in graphic design. Is looking for experience to launch a career in the non­profit sector. You want to learn, grow and make new contacts while supporting an amazing team. This is a federally funded 210 hour contract (7 weeks / 30 hours) at $10.75 per hour. We promise a dynamic work environment, a flexible schedule, and mentorship. ​
