CanadianJournal of Counselling/Revue Canadienne de Counseling
CanadianJournal of Counselling/Revue Canadienne de Counseling 1988, Vol. 22:3 127 EDITORIAL It was a beautiful June day in Charlottetown and the decision was swift. The Board of Directors of the Canadian Guidance and Counselling Association elected Acting Editor, Dr. Rey A. Carr, as the new Editor of the Canadian Journal of Counselling. The Board expressed considerable appreciation and regard for the exceptional achievements of the retiring Editor, Dr. Vance Peavy. Dr. M a x Uhlemann has agreed to take on the responsibility of Associate Editor. Dr. Uhlemann has considerable experience as author, reviewer and consulting editor. H e is specifically interested in creating a practitioner's section and would like to receive manuscripts from counsellors in the field. Françoise Roux will replace Judith Koltai as Managing Editor. Françoise is fluently bilingual and is completing her Master's degree in counselling at the University of Victoria. Jane Seyd and Cheryl-Lynn A m a n continue as Editorial Assistants. Each year we receive more manuscripts worthy of publication. Often we do not have space to publish them in our Journal and we encourage authors to seek other outlets for their work. Included with this editorial is a listing of local, provincial and national publications in Canada concerned with counselling (see Table 1). We would like to update and revise this list each year. Ifyou know of other publications, please let us know.
