CE bedeutet "Communauté Européenne" (= „Europäische Gemeinschaft“). Die CE-Kennzeichnung
für Spielzeug besagt, daß die Vorgaben zur Sicherheit von Spielzeug erfüllt ist, die die europäische
Spielzeug-Richtlinie fordert. Z. B. wird auf gefährliche Spitzen, Ecken und Kanten, auf Entflammbarkeit,
auf kleinste Reste an bestimmten Metallen und Schwermetallen, auf hygienische Beschaffenheit und auf
bedenkliche Reste von gefährlichen Stoffen wie Weichmachern, Azofarbstoffen oder Lösemittel geprüft.
CE means "Communauté Européenne" (= “European Community“). The CE designation for toys means that the safety
standards that are required the European Directives for Toys have been complied with. For example, they are tested for
dangerous points, corners and edges, for flammability, for the smallest particles of certain metals and heavy metals, for
hygiene and for apprehensive residuals of dangerous substances such as softening agents, dyes or solvents.
CE signifie "Communauté Européenne". Le marquage CE sur les jouets indique que les normes de sécurité exigées par
les directives européennes du jouet sont respectées. On contrôle par exemple la dangerosité des arêtes, coins et bords,
