Workshop Program - Virtual Concept
PROGRAM On MAJOR TRENDS IN PRODUCT DESIGN In Honor of Pr. Jean Pierre NADEAU 17 – 18 March 2016 Bordeaux, France Foreword IDMME – Virtual Concept 2008 Virtual Concept was born, in Biarritz, with the support of the French Institute ESTIA, in the year 2000. It has been highlighted successful studies in the fields of integrated and Interactive Product Design. 6 years later, Virtual Concept begun partner of major international publications related to the handling of advanced interactive simulation in Design and Manufacturing. Today Virtual Concept is yearly gathering together more than 200 well-known researchers in events riding the world. The International conferences and workshops leaded by Virtual Concept visited 27 countries in 25 years. Virtual Concept International events published 3700 papers, all being indexed and referenced. The International Virtual Concept Workshop on Major Trends in Product Design is organized with the research Center I2M UMR CNRS and Arts et Métiers ParisTech. It is also an event that celebrates the retirement of Pr. Jean-Pierre Nadeau who was strongly involved in the network. The conference chairs are pleased to welcome all participants in China to attend to International Virtual Concept Workshop on Major Trends in Product Design and wish a nice stay in Bordeaux. Jean-Pierre Nadeau. Jean-Pierre Nadeau is Pr. in Product Engineering. He devoted his life to the the development of original: energetic system, creativity design tools and softwares, modelling reduction techniques, solution space interactive exploration techniques, design for users techniques, virtual, integrated and interactive design techniques. Pr. Jean-Pierre Nadeau had a very dynamic international activity. He turned his thoughts towards Iberic World and Latin America. Notably, he was the instigator and the co-leadership of the Master DIM Innov@Prod that was held in Mexico. Pr. Nadeau spent a part of his profesional life in aiding latin american entreprises in the development of innovative solutions - his successful results led him to be invited to the Latin American Congress on Innovation, in 2009. 21 22
