ASP (Association of Surfing Professionals) is in the SAME BUILDING on Level 2, “Showcase on the

Bartholomew, Mark “Occy” Occhilupo, Kelly Slater, Joel Parkinson, Mick Fanning. For more details

5. QIBA students are permitted to bring their surfboards to college so they can easily surf
before and after class.
6. QIBA students on visitor’s or working holiday visas can study part-time (16 hours per week)
or FULL TIME (20 or 25 hours per week) and surf the rest.
7. All QIBA students who enrol for 8 weeks full time or the equivalent 160 hours English
tuition, are given 1 FREE SURFING LESSON by Elite Surfing Coach “Dave Davidson”, former
professional surfer & Australian surfing team coach. All levels: beginner thru to high level
surfing.
8. QIBA often welcomes SURF CHAMPIONS from all over the world, especially Brazil, e.g
Adriano de Souza, Thiago Pickler, Claudia Goncalves & Silvanna Lima. They enjoy English
and Surfing!
