Marc Quinn est né à Londres en 1964 et a étudié
l’histoire de l’art à Cambridge University. Ses œuvres
font partie des collections de nombreux grands
musées et collectionneurs privés dans le monde
entier y compris la Tate, le MoMA, le British Museum,
la Fondazione Prada et le Pinchuk Art Centre.
L’artiste vit et travaille à Londres.
Marc Quinn was born in London in 1964 and studied
art history at Cambridge University. His works are in
many major museums and private collections
worldwide including Tate, MoMA, The British
Museum, Fondazione Prada and Pinchuk Art Centre.
The artist lives and works in London.

fut créé par le Prince Albert Ier de Monaco, trisaïeul
de S.A.S. Albert II. Unissant Science et Art selon
le vœu de son fondateur, carrefour entre la science
et le public, le Musée offre l’opportunité unique
d’apprendre, de s’étonner et de s’émerveiller dans
le but de faire mieux connaître, aimer et protéger
les milieux marins. Le Musée océanographique de
Monaco ouvre ses portes à l’Art de notre temps pour
créer un dialogue plein de vie entre les œuvres d’art,
les collections du Musée et l’aquarium et faire
découvrir ses trésors sous un angle renouvelé. »

“Opened on 29 March, 1910, the Oceanographic
Museum was founded by Prince Albert I of Monaco,
great-great grandfather of S.A.S. Albert II. Uniting
science and art according the wishes of its founder,
a crossroads between science and the public, the
museum offers a unique opportunity to learn, to
wonder and marvel in order to raise awareness about,
love and protect marine environments. The
Oceanographic Museum of Monaco opens its doors
to the art of our time to create a vibrant dialogue
between works of art, museum collections and the
aquarium, and to discover treasures from a new angle.”
