MOT DU DIRECTEUR
Élections CIRTA 2009-2010
Chers collègues,
Les statuts du CIRTA prévoient l’élection par le Conseil scientifique de ses représentants au
Conseil d’administration (CA) et des membres du Comité de coordination (CC). Ainsi, il nous
faudra
élire
trois
représentants
au
CA
et
quatre
membres
au
CC.
Notez que pour le CA, tous les chercheurs du CIRTA sont éligibles tandis qu’au comité de
coordination, seuls les chercheurs réguliers provenant d’une institution cotisante (UdeM, HEC,
Polytechnique,
UQAC
et
Ulaval)
le
sont.
Soyez aussi avisés que pour chacun de ces postes, les statuts prévoient que seuls les chercheurs
réguliers membres d’une institution cotisante ont le droit de vote. Je procéderai donc dans les
prochains jours, auprès des membres votants, à un vote par courriel pour ces élections et
aviserai
ensuite
l’ensemble
de
la
communauté
CIRTA
des
résultats.
Je mets ici un extrait de nos statuts décrivant les règles qui s’appliquent à chacune de ces
instances.
Conseil d’administration
«Le Conseil d’administration du CIRTA est composé des représentants des universités
participant à son financement ou leurs délégués, d’un nombre égal de chercheurs élus par le
Conseil scientifique pour un mandat de deux ans, ainsi que du (des) directeur (co-directeurs) du
Centre qui en assure la présidence. Il se réunit au moins une fois par année. Il a pour principales
responsabilités
:
– d’approuver le budget, les règlements, les rapports annuels et la planification des activités du
Centre;
– de nommer le(s) directeur (co-directeurs) du Centre sur recommandation du Conseil
scientifique, pour une période de trois ans, renouvelable une fois.»

Comité de coordination
«Le Comité de coordination du CIRTA est composé du (des) directeur(s) du Centre et de quatre
autres chercheurs élus par les membres votants du Conseil scientifique, pour un mandat annuel,
parmi ses membres chercheurs réguliers membres d’une université cotisante. Il se réunit au moins
six fois par année. Il a pour principales responsabilités:
– d’assurer le bon fonctionnement du Centre et le suivi des décisions du Conseil scientifique et du
CA;
– de définir les services de soutien aux équipes du Centre et de support à l’élaboration et à la
réalisation des activités de recherche et de diffusion de la recherche;
– de mettre sur pied des groupes de travail nécessaires à la réalisation des objectifs du Centre.
