Vorteile gegenüber Operationsbrillen:
- Der Gesichtsschutz kann zusammen mit Operationsbrillen getragen werden.
- Der Gesichtsschutz bedeckt das ganze Gesicht und nicht nur den Augenbereich
wie z. B. OP-Brillen. Dadurch wird die Infektionsgefahr wesentlich verringert.
- Jede einzelne Maske is mit einer beidseitigen Schutzfolie überzogen, um ein
Verkratzen zu vermeiden. Vor Gebrauch bitte beide Schutzfolien abziehen.
- Das transparente Schild ist aus Polycarbonat (PC) und kann bei Bedarf
bei 121 °C bis zu 20 Minuten autoklaviert werden.
Das Kopfband besteht aus nicht allergieauslösdem Faservlies.
Die beiden Befestigungsknöpfe sind aus nicht allergieauslösendem Plastik gemäß
Lebensmittelverpackungsverordnung.
Der feuchtigkeitsaufnehmende Stoff des Haltebandes saugt auftretenden
Schweiß an der Stirn oder den Schläfen gut auf. Dadurch wird eine eventuelle
Verunreinigung von sterilen Flächen durch Schweißtropfen verhindert.
- Der Gesichtsschutz beschlägt nicht wenn man ihn 1-2 Zentimeter von der Nase entfernt
einstellt.
- Befestigt wird der Schutz mit einem Band, wie Operationsmasken auch. Er kann mittels
Klettverschluss für jeden Anwender individuell eingestellt werden.
- Es handelt sich um einen Einwegeartikel, der nach Gebrauch weggeworfen wird.
Dadurch keine Kontaminierung.
- Der Gesichtsschutz ist durchsichtig und der Blickwinkel sehr groß.
- Dieser Gesichtsschutz verhindert das direkte Einatmen von Rauch bei der Benutzung eines
Kauters (= elektrisches Gerät, welches durch Hitzeentwicklung Blutungen stillt und
Wunden verschließt). Durch das Verdampfen von Gewebe kann Rauch entstehen.
Wird dieser Rauch eingeatmet kann es zu akuten und chronischen Veränderungen oder
Reizungen der Atemwege kommen.

Advantages compared to operation goggles:
- The face shield can be used together with operation goggles.
- The face shield completely covers the face and not only the eye region like e.g. operation goggles.
This significantly decreases the contamination risk.
- Every single mask is covered with a protective foil on both sides, in order to prevent scratches.
Please remove both protective foils before usage.
- The transparent shield is made of polycarbonate (PC) and can be autoclaved at 121 °C/249.8 °F up to
20 minutes if required.
The forehead band consists of non-allergenic nonwoven fabric.
Both fastener buttons are made of non-allergenic plastic in line with food package regulation.
- The high-absorptive layers in the forehead band absorb occurring sweat on the forehead or
temples. This prevents a possible contamination of sterile area through sweat beads.
- The face shield will not steam up if it is adjusted 1-2 centimetres away from the nose.
- Fixing method of the shield is with a cord, similar to all surgery masks. It can be individually
adjusted for every user thanks to a hook and loop fastener.
- The face shield is disposable, it will be disposed of after use. Therefore no contamination.
- The face shield is transparent and provides a wide angle of view.
- This face shield prevents direct breathing of cautery smoke in cases where cautery is used
(cautery = electric device, which stops bleedings and obturates wounds by the use of heat
generation). Smoke comes up through the vaporising of tissue. Cautery smoke risks are acute
and chronic changes or irritations in the breathing system.

Avantages par rapport à des lunettes d’intervention :
- L’écran de protection facial peut être porté par dessus des lunettes d’intervention.
- L’écran de protection couvre l’ensemble du visage et pas seulement la partie des yeux comme le font les lunettes
d’intervention par exemple. Le risque d’infection s’en trouve considérablement réduit.
- Chaque écran est recouvert d’un film de protection des deux côtés afin d’éviter les rayures. Retirer ces deux films
avant l’utilisation.
- L’écran transparent est fabriqué en polycarbonate (PC) et peut en cas de besoin être autoclavé à 121 °C
jusqu’à 20 minutes.
La bande serre-tête est réalisée en non-tissé hypoallergénique.
Les deux boutons de fixation sont en plastique hypoallergénique conformément au règlement relatif aux
emballages alimentaires.
- La matière anti-humidité de la bande serre-tête absorbe parfaitement la transpiration se formant sur le front ou les
tempes. Cela évite l’éventuelle contamination de champs stériles par des gouttelettes de sueur.
- L’écran de protection ne se couvre pas de buée lorsqu’il est porté à 1-2 centimètres du nez.
- L’écran est maintenu en position à l’aide d’une bande serre-tête comme les masques d’opération. Il peut être réglé
individuellement à la taille de l’utilisateur grâce à une fermeture auto-agrippante.
- Il s’agit d’un article à usage unique, qui doit être jeté après utilisation. Cela supprime tout risque de contamination.
- L’écran de protection est transparent et offre un très grand angle de vue.
- Cet écran de protection empêche l’inhalation directe de fumée lors de l’utilisation d’un appareil de cautérisation (=
appareil électrique permettant par l’effet de la chaleur de mettre fin à des saignements et de refermer des plaies).
La vapeur d’eau qui se dégage des tissus lors de la cautérisation peut entraîner la formation d’une fumée.
L’inhalation de cette fumée peut entraîner des modifications ou des irritations aigües et chroniques des voies
respiratoires.
