Phd at the University (Lyon, France) within the laboratory CASYEN of Pr Bruno Andrioletti.
The goal was the reduction of environmental impact of the synthesis of polymers
(polyurethanes, polyamide-imides, polyester, polyester-imides), solvents, conditions of
catalysis:
- Litterature studies and mechanistic for the synthesis of polymers, solvents.
- Industrial development of a new solvent eco-compatible – Collaboration with
Taminco for the patent WO 2013/107822 published on July 25, 2013.
- Passage in pilot scale (120 kg) and industrialization of a new range of non-toxic
polymers (> 2000 T /year).
- Valorisation of biomass: Synthesis of solvents partially bio-sourced (derivative of
cellulose) - Patent Aplication U7-B-3917FR applied on March 25, 2013.
- Homogenous Catalysis (reaction of C-H activation).
- Mentoring of trainees and technicians.
March to August 2010 6 months internship at the CRTL at Solvay around Lyon (France) focus on: kinetics &
parametrics studies on the reaction of isomerization of 2-methyl-3 butene nitrile in 3Pentene nitrile
- Homogenous catalysis.
- Achievement of plan of experience for the optimization of the parameters.
April to July 2009
Internship at McGill University in Montreal (Canada) in the laboratory of « Green Chemistry
and Organic Synthesis » of Pr Chao-Jun Li. The subject was the synthesis of molecules derived
from the training C-C: Reaction of C-H activation by using as solvents recyclable ionic liquids.
