3.
4.
Choose a child to come to the front of the room and be ‘on’.
The child who is ‘on’ closes their eyes and faces away from the class.
Say a word or phrase in English and the rest of the group volunteer if they are confident to provide the French translation.
Select a volunteer to provide the translation. They must then say the word/phrase in French, whilst also trying to disguise their voice.
The child at the front can then open their eyes and turn around to try to guess who spoke.
5. The child who is ‘on’ can have up to three tries to guess the identity of the mystery voice. If they guess correctly they can stay ‘on’ for
another turn.
6. Repeat with a new word or phrase.
