Smart Card Reader Instructions
AR10
Instructions relatives au lecteur de carte intelligent
To use the AR10 to access information on a smart card, you must install an
application on the mobile computer. Intermec provides turnkey applications
that range from minimal card access utilities to complete identity
management solutions that are compatible with desktop industry standards.
If you are using the Information Assurance software with the AR10, see the
Information Assurance Software for Windows Mobile 6.5 Instructions on the
AIT website.
For downloads, go to the Intermec AIT web site at www.intermec.com/ait.
For information on how to install software, see your mobile computer user
manual.
Note: When writing an application that uses the AR10 COM1 port,
you need to enumerate and open the port, send the data, and then
close the port between each use.

Mini USB
Connect Intermec approved USB devices.
LED
• Green: The reader is on.
• Yellow: The reader is reading a smart card.
Charging /docking
connector
Allows you to charge the computer with the reader attached
through a FlexDock.
COM1
Connects to to other RS-232 devices, such as printers.

vous devez installer une application sur l’ordinateur mobile. Intermec offre des

Remarque : Pour programmer une application qui utilise le port AR10
COM1, vous devez énumérer et ouvrir le port, envoyer les données, puis
fermer le port entre chaque utilisation.
