LEED Canada Core and Shell (CS) 2009 Silver Certification
146 -150 Lakeshore Road West is a redeveloped shopping centre development located at
the intersection of Kerr Street and Lakeshore Road West in Oakville, Ontario. It is
owned and was developed by First Capital Realty Inc. (First Capital Realty) and
obtained LEED Canada Core and Shell (CS) 2009 Silver Certification in 2014.
In keeping with First Capital Realty’s ongoing commitment to sustainable design and
construction, 146 - 150 Lakeshore Road West was constructed to LEED Canada CS
2009. The LEED Canada CS 2009 Silver Certification comprises the base building
design and construction of two buildings with 2,691 m² or 28,965 ft² in total. First
Capital Realty did not construct or fit out the interiors of tenant premises; and as a
result, they were not included in this LEED Canada CS 2009 Silver Certification.
However, mandatory agreements specify that tenants design and complete the interior
of their leased premises in accordance with LEED requirements.
