AARON BURMEISTER FIRST TO KALTAG
WINS BRISTOL BAY NATIVE CORPORATION FISH FIRST
AWARD
Kaltag, Alaska, March 14, 2015 - IDITAROD XLIII musher Aaron
Burmeister (bib # 63) of Nome, Alaska, was the first to arrive at the Kaltag
checkpoint at 8:49pm AKDT. Aaron had 13 dogs in harness.
Shawn Aspelund, Bristol Bay Native Corporation Board Member was on hand to
award Aaron its Fish First Award.
The Bristol Bay Native Corporation Fish First Award will be re-presented
again to Burmeister in Nome on Sunday, March 22, during the Iditarod Awards
Banquet at the Nome Recreation Center.
