Zahra MAAFIRI Managing Director The Moroccan Center for Export Promotion is a governemental institution founded on December 17, 1976 (Hija 25, 1396) by Dahir NO 1-76-385. MAROC EXPORT endowed with a legal responsibility and financial auto- nomy, it also under the super vision of delegate Ministry to the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Investment and Digital Economy in charge of foreign trade. The Center is in charge of promoting the export of industrial and agricultural products, services, and any products that do not fall under the jurisdiction of other administrations or organizations, by virtue of law or regulation. Based in Casablanca and grouping the majority of 1600 companies, the AMITH is active in Morocco through its representations in different cities: Casablanca, Tangier, Rabat-Salé, FèsMeknes and Marrakesh. Only 10 % of the home textile national production is dedicated to the export. The main part is sold on the local market, which remains limited regarding the industry potentialities. The reason why the sector operators consider that the Home Textile industry development is extremely related to the export.
