Traffic Data Collection Station Traffic Data Collection Station Synoptic diagram of the operation This diagram represents the entire range of various types of detectors ranging from the electromagnetic loop to the piezoelectric strip. These detectors equip all LACROIX Trafic products and interface with the sensors over a distance of up to 500 meters. The station is built based on a 19’’ integrated rack. A double cabinet housing is optional to cover the the stations. The remote detector When the configuration requires measurements from a distance of up to 500 meters, in order to maintain the required accuracy, LACROIX offers a solution of remote detection. The box can be placed for up to: > 4 lanes in speed/length mode > 4 lanes in speed/caregory or weigh in motion mode > Automatic output blocking in case of disconnection (to protect against parasitical counts) > Frequency adjustment to avoid parasitical effects between loops > Quick start Remote detector Station The 2 channel LTC2V uses the signal from the piezoelectric sensor. Its specific implentatiion features and its fiberglass composition guarantee 10 times higher resistance than conventional «resin + silica» methods. It consists of several software programs communicating with SQL database thus simplifying its architecture and configuration. 500 m SENSORS The stations The detector is an essential element for good metrology in the chain of data collection. This provides great modularity which means that, for each application, SPHINX requires only the corresponding automatic controller. In particular, the automatic data collection outstation management system is presented in the form of a simplified diagram of the network being monitored. An icon is represented by an on-screen simplified diagram of traffic measurements, such as traffic flow and is directly available on the icon, all traffic data may be visualised just by clicking onto the icon. www.lacroix-trafic.fr
